The Crucible Knight and Leonine Misbegotten are actually a really cool duo fight lorewise. Misbegotten are creatures tied inherently to the primordial crucible of life, which is also where the crucible knights draw their power from. I like to think the Crucible Knight jumps in to help his kin the Misbegotten.

Great video, but I feel that I need to point out that killing Bernahl as early as you did prevented you from being able to kill Vagram the Raging Wolf and Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm in Lyndell, technically invalidating the genocide run based on the rules you set. It's an easy mistake to make though, I've locked myself out of that fight by killing Bernahl early before as well

The frenzied ending kills Torrent. I think the frenzied flame ending actually offers more opportunity for death and destruction. So that's really the only thing I would have done differently to wrap things up.

Iirc Torrent’s ring gets destroyed in the Frenzied Flame cutscene (if Melina is still alive), and I think it’s safe to assume it would still be destroyed even if she was dead.

Fun fact: Ulcerated tree spirit is actually a reused asset from dark souls 3. It was actually going to be Aldritch devourer of gods with a black slime texture, but they changed it during development. Thank GOD they changed it in DS3.

ulcerated tree spirit would have been fine as an outdoors boss, but they put it into a confined area, which made it overpowered. it has this long flailing aoe thrash attack that causes it to fly around the arena like a charging fallenstar beast, but with a much wider area of effect. it's also hard to tell when the thrashing charge is an attack, and when it is just a boss running around the arena.

There is an outdoor version of it near Volcano Manor actually. If you kill that one in particular, you get a tear to put in your Physick that reduces FP consumption to 0 for 15 seconds. It doesn't make the boss any better, but you do have a much larger area to fight the boss in.

As for rogier, goldmask and diallos, they die when their quests are done (rogier gets cursed by deathroot, diallos dies against an enemy in jarburg and goldmask dies in leyndell after creating his mending rune). As for corhyn you can kill him either in altus plateau (when he searches for goldmask) or in the ashen capital after you finished goldmasks questline.

Bosses like the ulcerated tree spirit in limgrave or any of the MANY magma wryms are easy enough if you stay under them, For the most part of the boss battle you just stay under them and with attacks such as the magma wryms floor magma attack you get away as you do have time to run/dodge before your burned. The trick is litteraly to just stay under them and attack and I believe this is how FromSoft wanted it to be played because they are very weak to slash/jab/bleed attacks on their stomachs. Also grayol the big ass sleeping dragon with like seven small dragons around it can be woken up and operate like any other dragon battle if you attach his face. Attack face, get biggest boss in the game

Just to let you know in lore the three fingers die when you burn the erdtree without the frenzied flame. you can tell cause it's the heat from the frenzied flame which keeps the gate heated allowing it to be opened, but it died and it is sealed forever after you burn the erdtree without it. you could also technically say it died after giving you the frenzied flame cause in all reality it's just a carrier to give on to the next person, but I'm not coming to conclusions.
