Well not just that. He intended to kill his brother Mitchell. Because he was jealous of Mitchell. Jealousy is fine, wanting to kill your brother who if I remember correctly, wanted nothing more than to support and love Celeste and Toby. By chance, he failed and killed Lisa. So he's guilty of second degree murder. He originally with Celeste hid Lisa in an unmarked grave. Then dug her remains back up to then keep her body in the garage. She gets discovered by Mitchell, the would be victim. He's then threatened into running away by his brother and sister claiming they'd pin it all on him. They then again unceremoniously dumped Lisa's body in another unmarked grave. Celeste blames Mitchell. This isn't even considering what he did to Cleo's abuser (the guy deserved punishment but that went a bit far in brutality). He attacked Saul. Admits to the murder. Then stayed in the collapsing building despite Celeste trying to get him out. Her death happened because he didn't want to get out. He wanted to stay there because he's a murderer. But nope parents to the rescue. BTW if I murdered one of my cousins, (I have ADHD, autism, abused by my 'dad' and then 'stepdad', bullied in school and was in a rather... mentally damaging relationship all before I was eighteen) I wouldn't allow them to defend me. I would have done wrong and would deserve to be punished. That's what Toby deserves punishment. He may get a lesser sentence due to his past but he must be tried and dealt with appropriately.

The thing is, Celeste covered it up… that’s going to get him in more trouble than anything. A lawyer could make the argument that he was competent enough to help her cover it up. But as the viewers have seen Toby wouldn’t have been able to cover it up alone. It’s all Dr Ley’s fault, but he would’ve been let of lightly with probably going into a mental health hospital had Celeste not covered it up for him.

K S OA I really miss Marnie and Sylver (but I still think he’s still alive) but I miss Celeste and Lisa as well I can understand why the actress and actor who played Lisa and Mitchell decided to leave the series and all but I don’t know why the actress who played Celeste left though. And you’re right about Toby he needs help and be sent to a mental health hospital and maybe Honour can help him but I hope Cleo will never forgive him for killing her Best Friend but she’ll go back to Joel. A crazy tough situation. However, He tried to kill your husband and son on purpose yet, killed your cousin on accident. He and your daughter framed your other son for those crimes twice and drove him out the country during the pandemic. Now Mitchell lost everything: his husband,her career, his good name, and his family. I honestly thought he would hurt Demarcus but I’m glad he didn’t. The 180 he did shouldn’t have come after killing, and lying. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I understand Felix feels guilty for Toby’s childhood and he loves his son.But, this doesn’t help Toby at all. What if he gets triggered again? Who’s going to take the fall? Martine? Demarcus? Pearl? Walter? Damn hurry up and give the kidney to Walter and at LEAST put him in a psychiatric ward.
