the only problem i would have with going back to full auto is the auto shift out of first and the skip shift from 2 to 4

I say go auto . Why not do a auto stick ? You know like the ones in a G8gt, Caprice , and SS . It would be a bit of both worlds so to speak . Shift it when you want and cruise when you don't want to . Just my 2 cents . Enjoy your videos keepem coming .

Don't hate me: Put a ford 4R75w built in it. Just saying. Or have a nasty 200R4 if you can find one. But that wasn't what you wanted to know. Keep auto just go with a very good valve body that can be manually shifted but still retains auto function. If you're SURE you won't at least upgrade to a 80 heh.

Definitely love this car. I'd stick with the manual valve body. Nothing like keeping it in whatever gear you want whenever you want. It's a play toy. Doesn't need to shift itself.
