I remember her competing last Olympics against russian Lasitskene. She lost the gold metal but it was obvious that she had clearly the potential to go much higher. I am so happy about Ucrainians .Salva Ucraina. Love from Greece...

Best women’s high jump talent I’ve seen in 40 years. I’ve been watching the event all my life and she was the only woman I thought could do 2.10. As good as Blanka Vlasić was - and her 2.08 showed that the world record could be broken - I have always thought Mahuchikh had more potential.

She is only 22 years old surely now 2.13m (7 Ft) and above is in reach maybe even at the Olympics. She will have huge confidence and belief now she has broken the World Record 👏

Yaroslava i also had ideas that you could go higher because earlier i saw you take every high very easy so i was sure you could go higher because earlier you took 2.06 very easy so to get 2.10 must be possible for you. I´m very happy for you.🥰BOBO.

I knew she would do that. I believe that she had already jumped the same height at least once during her trainings in the last two years before the legendary World Record. 🔥 Thanks for the great joy she brought. 🙌

Very happy that Yaroslava was the one to break this very long standing record of 37yrs set in 1987 by Stefka Kostadinova. A shout out to Stefka, a true alien.

Yes, she improved her speed in the run up to the jump. I very much noticed that watching her WR jump. Congratulations to her and to her team. And the support she got from her competitors before and after the jump was just lovely to watch!
