hi Mimi... cute easy top. looks like you knit in the stitch below in that row and then knit it correctly the rows after. Or you split the stitch. It's an easy fix too (drop the stitch on the next row and pick it up with a crochet hook, put it back on the needle and knit)- search for fixing a dropped stitch. Glad you're enjoying knitting.... I enjoy watching your finishing techniques.

Those picked up stitches looked beautiful. I love knitting. I’ve been knitting and crocheting blankets, hats and scarves for 10 years. I made a My First Holiday Sweater 3 years ago. It was filled with techniques I have never done before. But I felt so proud and accomplished finishing the sweater. Keep working on your next project. Beautiful knitted tank! An easy way to fix the little hole is to use a needle and thread and close it, very easy to do.

If you haven’t already gotten one, you may want to look into getting a yarn ball winder. There are videos to show what they are and how to use them, but they can really help do your yarn doesn’t tangle during your projects.

These ladies create wonderful clothing/patterns. I think you should do a collab with them / fashion show here in Atl!! Also try Ruby Stedman. She has knit / crochet patterns, in Spanish & English. And try Hectanooga knit/ crochet hundreds of patterns in esty. I learned sewing / basic knitting 8th grade. Knit/ crocheting is relaxing. Bragging rights of your wearable creations..keep the creativity coming and flowing Mimi! The skies the limit!!

Super job! I think you accidentally created a hole by doing a yarn-over. Honestly, I don't really know as knitting isn't my first craft, sewing is. Anyway, when I knit, I ALWAYS make some sort of mistake that winds up in the finished product. But you know what, Mimi? I like it thataway. It's a "handknit" item, and even if I'm the only one that knows about the flaw, it signifies to me that I made it myself, and I really love that.

I love tank tops with wide the shoulders. I dislike when bra straps peek out when I'm wearing one. I took a look at the pattern you suggested, I've been knitting since the late 80's and I found that pattern unnecessarily complicated and inefficient.
