This yard was getting out of control. But after knocking on the door multiple times over a few days, I thought I would speak with the neighbor. Turns out, the neighbor is a huge fan of my channel! She told me they have never seen anyone come in or out of the house and their realtor said it was vacant. I tried knocking on it one more time when another neighbor yelled from across the street that it was vacant. So, I got it looking amazing again for the neighborhood!

Spencer, you are amazing! Every homeowner on that street owes you for improving the appearance of their block! I got wore out watching you, I can’t imagine how tired you must be after a lawn cleanup like this. I had a lawn service for a dozen years. I cringed whenever I started in on some overgrown jungle like this. I just figured, Here comes a repair bill for tearing up something on my mower. After my first few years I was busy enough to turn down cleanups like this. And sorry, but I was never so generous as to do it for free-bills to pay and a family to support. And of course no KZbin back then to earn something from advertisers! 😁😂👍 Keep it up Spencer, you’re a hero!

Hi!! Im the neighbor in the video! My husband and i plan on helping keep it up now. He came to our door about a month ago and at that time, we JUST moved in about a week before that. We dont want to call the city because i heard that they add the cost to the property tax at the end of the year for whoever eventually buys the house and thats not fair on them. He did an AMAZING job. Proud to have spencer in our community!!

I was just thinking if someone knocked on a vacant door in Alabama, 9 times out of 10 I bet the neighbor knows the life story of the house and why it was empty or overgrown and would tell you whether you wanted to hear it or not... but they'd probably mow it themselves too and it wouldn't be overgrown to start with. Wow this turned out really great! 🙌 I watch a lot of your videos and have been thinking that I miss a lot of reactions from the house owners (or neighbors in this case). I think it’s a nice thing to see their reactions. @SBMowing: in my neighborhood, I have adopted areas to take care of. These areas, looked like deserts with all kinds of weeds, hardly no grass at all. No body cared, so I hired a professional grass treatment company to treat and I mowed. Big difference now. With the Covid relief check, I bought a new riding lawnmower so it’s easier now. You would think that someone in the neighborhood would at least offer some assistance in cleaning up these abandoned homes…you’re doing it for THEIR neighborhood, but they won’t ! Hard for me to understand, but then, I came from a time when neighbors took care of each other and offered help whenever they could. Thank you for what you do! I love your videos!❤
