Tami, you said balance between discipline and love. Truth is, we need to change how we see discipline. Discipline is not punishment. It is about training, teaching and redirecting behaviours as the child grows. Discipline is coming from the word disciple. So we integrate discipline in our families because of love, because we want to see them trained up in ways that are beneficial for them in the long run.
