A major issue relative to "no edges," has to do with little girls. Honey, those braids are destroying their fragile hair. Of course braids are easy so parents/caregivers don't have to "comb" their hair, or style their hair. But, some parents believe it is better than putting a relaxer in their hair. What happened to "platting" hair?! Hair loss around the edges were rare to non-existent during my girlhood/youthhood generation. When there is noticeable hair loss for little girls, shouldn't braiding be discontinued? But, then, what?
