i sung this song a few months ago and after i sung it, i couldnt help but cry because i felt his love so strong. im a recent convert to the lds church and i know it's a true church. it's been a true blessing in my life. I know that he lives and that he is the living Christ!

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (May 11, Easter 4), we sang this as our Closing Hymn. However, it was to the tune, DUKE STREET, attributed to John Hatton. It is #619 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. We also sang this as the Processional Hymn at my father's funeral.

It brought me so many tears as it reminded me of time when I was struggling in my Life and the Gospel was the only joy that made feel so happy...I miss those days. I was so involved with the Elder missionaries and I went with them to share the Gospel with people that wanted more information about the Church...

I bare testimony that he lives. I also bare testimony that after a lifetime of major trials that he answers prayer. Not always how we want him to, not always in the timely manner we would like but he does answer every prayer. He has blessed me with 4 children though I was not supposed to have any, trusted me with one of his special forever innocent children and given me joy in times where joy was hard to find. I so love my heavenly father and I adore this video and song.

I was 17 when I wrote this. So much has happened in my life since then. Married in the temple, had my baby, and now my husbands gone. But I still listen to this song when I hurt and need comfort just like I did as a teenager in high school. I still know He lives. The Savior has been my kindest friend. Sometimes all I can say in my prayers is, "please help me Father". Heavenly Father always lightens the pain and blesses me in sweet ways when I ask.
