As hard as this is to write, this song was on my wife's memorial service playlist last week. We worked on it together while she was in the hospital and I sang to her. We were together since fifteen. Her 50th birthday is tomorrow, 10/17. I still can't catch my breath.

Turning 40 this year and in the last 2 years something happened, I haven't a clue what, but it continues to get worse/better.....Music like this just immediately makes my throat hurt, and my eyes water. My favorite pastime these days is a strong beverage and great music and cry. It's great for the soul!!! Fellas.....if you need to cry, please just cry and cry and cry. Get it out!!!

Hey, it’s totally fine to let those feelings out. Music can hit hard sometimes and bring up emotions you didn’t even know were there. Sounds like you’re going through a lot, but it’s good that you’re not bottling it up. Crying can actually be a good way to heal. Dear God, I lift up Matt to you today. Please surround him with comfort and peace as he works through these deep emotions. Help him find strength and healing in the midst of his struggles. May Matt feel your love and presence, and know that it’s okay to lean on you when things get tough. Guide him through this time and bring him the clarity and calm he needs. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
