No Sarah there have not been mistakes on both sides. The entire royal family and their staff were extremely welcoming, supportive, and generous with Harry and Meghan. They got everything they wanted and were even given special treatment in many instances. They were allowed to get away with actions that wouldn't be tolerated from anyone else. To name a few: keeping the time place and medical team for Archie's birth a secret, have a privacy area around Frogmore, the six weeks in Canada despite not fulfilling many duties, allowing Meghan to snub the presidental official visit of Trump when she turned up at trooping the color days later, Charles walking her down the aisle, a church wedding where meghan dressed like a virginal bride despite being divorced, and last but not least Meghan was invited to Christmas at Sandringham before she was married. The mistakes and betrayal are on Harry and Meghan. It seems like they were given everything they want except to either be on the same royal level as or replace William and Catherine. It was clearly not granted, so they left like petulant children to throw a four year tantrum and whine about how mean eveyone was to them.

Harry did nothing special when he served in the military. Thousands did the same and served honorably. Pat Tillman didn’t just walk away from a multimillion dollar contract to join the Army, he successfully went thru the grueling training to become a member of the elite armed forces, an Army Ranger. A job that put his life at risk just going thru training because the job is so much more dangerous than the average soldier. Character counts and Harry has proven his character isn’t even worthy of the uniform anymore. People are not letting him hide behind the Invictus games anymore than they are willing to let his wife hide behind the worthy cause of racial equality.
