I do love a potato harvest and what better way to celebrate than a potato salad! It’s funny, my Dad was a German who met my Mum in England but we just called it potato salad! Do you put in apples and gherkins, my Dad always did, my wife doesn’t put in the apples but I love the hard boiled egg she puts in!

My spuds have been hit and miss this year to. Mostly miss. Now I do hope we get to see you fixing the generator. I have a small 2.8 kw Honda powered generator which hasn't run in years, possibly 7 or 8 so at the very least it will need a carb clean, maybe a project for a future video ?

I am in the process of doing a Generator video, but the ignition switch broke and im on my third switch purchase! As soon as its fixed i will put out the video!

Do you reuse that compost for next year's spuds or buy brand new? I watched a guy who used the same stuff for 5 years, he just added fish, blood and bone every spring. I've tried that but the yield was awful.

I do reuse it, but also add fresh well rotted horse manure! I was late planting out my Potatoes this year, so i need to make sure i do them earlier next season!
