i like how it can go either way: she's literally evil/possessed/whatever, or the people around her just went crazy trying to cope with her disability all alone completely isolated from the rest of the world out in the middle of nowhere. they said it was hereditary so her mom/brother probably both just broke down and there was nothing supernatural about her at all. i love the part where the tape shows she didn't say anything and he was just talking to himself because you can decide for yourself whether she magically altered the footage or that's really what happened and all the scenes of her doing stuff was just in his head as he slowly went crazy, depending on which version of the story you like best. if you think demons are scarier, it works. if you think mental illness is scarier, it works. it can even be both!

Al do it didn’t came to me as a surprise that it was al in his head, this was very clear sooner in the movie. With the glitching in the video tape reminded me a lot of the ring and also the way with her hair and not moving the way of sitting in the weelchair.

Thank you! What a creepy movie with a strong story. It`s a long time I haven`t seen such a great scary movie. Every minute stayed me interestet, Scene from Scene, Day by Day, Tom getting more insane and sick in his mind. What the Devil Sister Chloe and the isolated House of his Mother is doing with his mind. This combination destroyed him completly and changes him also into a Devil. It was a kind of Psychological Thrill Movie I love a lot. And the country was amazing and the right background for this dark story. Please more of this movies!

I found it unbelievable that any doctor in any healthcare institution would release a patient in Chloe's condition to an unknown person (whether male or female) without proof of legal guardianship of said person. SMH.

I think the answer is in the fact that the house is right beneath Mt Shasta. They referenced it briefly, but led you to believe the entire time that Chloe was either possesed or Tom was crazy. I believe it was the mountain and the well known supernatural activity its known for the whole time. Thats why mom had religious charms and protections, and went crazy as well. Maybe something in Chloe was also aggravated by the atmosphere of Mt Shasta. Perhaps it was the reason she went catatonic in the first place. This was surprisingly well done.

Both the wife and the brother killed themselves with ignorance even if you don't believe in something you shouldn't ignore it or take it for granted.. You traveled to a town where nobody lived except for your mother you started experiencing strange things and u couldn't leave the place immediately instead you continued staying all in the name of documentary and as for the wife who follows a man to an unknown place nowadays? She could have waited for him at home till he comes and even if you decide to go check up on him when u arrived there seeing how strange the place you wouldn't leave your car keys around and leave immediately the next day

I did deliberately waste my time. This movie has all the honest horror movie stuff: 1. Got a weapon in her hand but just tossed it on the floor then ran 2. Signal was just bad, but not completely off. Could have just sent text to Jorgensen and it would've been delivered sooner or later 3. Got the car, hit the villain, but instead of driving away to safety, preferred to get out of the car and check on him And she just happened to be a full-breasted blonde
