Global voting is the worst because people pick favorites over talent. Like who would have thought K would not make it? I was so confident. And Sunoo went from 1st place in the global voting twice yet didn’t even make it to the top 6 in the finale. The producers had to pick him. They should have put 50/50 on both global and producer picks because some contestants were left unjustified.

@@kaaynn-rn I don't know. Global voting was instrumental in getting Sunoo recognition for his skills and allure. I'm not sure if 50/50 would have yielded better results or not. I personally really love the group that was assembled through this whole process. I will say that I think they need to fix the structure of when to do the performance and the voting. People were basing their votes on previous performances and screentime rather than what the producers 'said' they would be voting on. Also global vote is important because a person can be highly skilled but fail to capture people's hearts. You need stage presence and something that makes people root for u. Sunoo has so much charisma, cuteness, prettiness, heart, and energy in the way he acts and performs that he captured so many people's hearts, even more than people who had more training and refined skills than him.

Emily Roman I understand. I would have preferred if they balanced it with global and producer votes because, I felt like many of the people would have been correctly justified that way. Global presence is important but if it was entirely global votes, it just wouldn’t seem right. Some of the contestants could have just made a sob story and gain sympathy votes even if their stage presence lacked a lot. I do think the global votes did give Sunoo recognition but I was really disappointed that producers had to pick between K, Sunoo, and Daniel.

They wanted the candidates that had the largest following to debut but a lot of ppl voted for those they thought wouldn't get in which is why Sunoo didn't get as many votes and jungwon got so many. i don't know if there is a way to fix that. ppl wld complain abt half of the choices being producers pick too especially if their faves weren't selected. maybe they could average the votes for the totality of the show per contestant and that cld help with the final lineup but it sounds confusing.

i kept thinking how sunoo was a big plot twist among all other trainee bcs he surpassed everyone by suddenly got into 1st rank and then slowly, he showed how debut-worthy he is. i thought that was the charm of him until this day, i realize, sunoo could be charming since day one but ilanders shut him down :) and they do it twice, give him no chance to shine and im mad just realizing about it now. he was never a plot twist; he's a strong survivor, determined challenger.

I would never look at Enhypen if Sunoo wasn't there. This kid has a very strong and stable mindset and emotional maturity. Even up to this day when other members tease him for being mostly feminine. But if you look closely, he is the manliest of all the Enhypen members because he has no pretense whatsoever. He was raised well, pure-hearted by nature in an industry where the most deceitful people are found. I hope he grows up well and teach the Enhypen members to be optimistic at all times. At first they looked down on him I’d say, they discriminated him at first, and then when he got 1st rank they still couldn’t believe what they saw. And then they saw sunoo literally getting picked by everyone…fans, judges and by seventeen too. They focused so much on judging others and trying to eliminate those who were a threat to them (apart from those they sure couldn't get rid of, with those they allied with) that they forgot that the public also had voting power, so they didn't debut in ENHYPEN. They are not really close with him. I don't think they hate him but they are not close. Every other member have bonding and subunits with each other and he's the only one left out. I was so happy when he made it to the debut line up but its disappointing to see how it has turn out now. Even the company itself is pushing him at the back

Lin yeah, I noticed that.... it's pretty obvious.... I think that in the beginning the members felt that K was supposed to be in the group and not Sunoo. K was one of the OGs that never touched the ground and Sunoo was just a grounder that was voted out twice. So I believe all the OGs were hurt by that, and it's normal. But I think that their chemistry is better now, not the best, but better, and I hope it continues to improve.
