The man from the window is actually a reference to the movie the baba dook. The man from the window taps on the window 3 times. the baba dook bangs on your door 3 times. both stories are triggered by a child being scared he would get cached by the monster in the book. But from then on the game is fully different from the movie I mean of course it's a game you don't wanna just play a movie. They added some twists as well for the game. (edit: I'm saying this because in the real game you actually have to hide from him in the man from the window game and your child shows you the "man from the window book")
