Girl you were ambitious trying to learn to knit and crochet at the same time! I learned to knit through a free course at our library and I think if I had tried to learn just through the internet that it would’ve been impossible! So don’t feel bad I think it’s easier to learn from somebody else the basics in person and then take it from there! So don’t get discouraged it was so hard at first to get the basic knitting and purling down!

I love crocheting & your absolutely right, it's becoming a lost craft indeed. I would just undo the tie part of your bandana and make it a few rows bigger and then just add a few lace rows to match with the others. It looks great anyway.

Awesome! That really is a skill and so is sewing. Just imagine before we had department stores, small businesses, and online shops... nearly everything was homemade. Our ancestors and family members had some true talent! It's great that so many young people are getting back into it now. 🧵🪡
