Praise the Lord! God has opened your eyes to his true, Holy nature. Often we have churches that are horrified of preaching about repentance, hell, God’s righteousness, and man’s depravity. Praise God alone for his work in you!❤

Praise the Lord you are a Berean (Acts 17:11). Unfortunately too many who are caught up in this wants to leave their faith and use this as a tool to do so. I don't know the teacher you are referring to, I hope he is not a calvinist. It is always good to listen to more than one teacher anyways, and I can absolutely recomend Mike Winger. He has a large KZbin chanel, hundreds of hours of teachings. God bless you.

I love it! This video helped me also note that I need to adjust my approach to those caught up in the "progressive" "Christianity" (both in quotes because there's nothing progress or Christian about it). There are people like you who were or are in the process of seeing the lie and I think we Christians have to remember that and help people with love come out of that lie. I've been guilty of assuming they're not saved and are just trying to corrupt Christianity and willingly know what they are doing. I think that's true for most of the preachers in it, but not every person in the pews in those places is that the case. We should help correct their error for those who have ears to hear. Obviously for some, it's like casting pearls before swine and we shouldn't even engage. But for someone like you, you heard, you heeded, and the Holy Spirit guided you out of a bad spot. I think Christians need to sternly rebuke the false teachers, but we also need to keep in mind that there were people like you in those churches who are temporarily confused and need a different approach than we might take to a false teacher. That latter part, I haven't done well. The modern world makes me angry, not unjustifiably, but God's goodness is still at work in the world and with His children and you're an example of that.

Praise God for getting you out of the devils lies and deception. The hand of the Lord is upon you. We are i; the end times. It's not good to follow people. Even other Christians. Just God's Word alone. Jesus answers any of your question through the Word. The Lord answered my questions no man can answer. But God can. Stay in the Word alone sister. Deception is everywhere. @nicki8869 I will have to agree and disagree with you on this one. I absolutely 100 % agree with never following humans, only Christ! However, I believe that God has also used people to help us understand His word through their comments. When we read Scripture, even when we think we are listening to the Holy Spirit, we may be deceived too if we only read it by ourselves. We see how people can become Calvinists if they only read on their own, etc. Listening to different people’s teachings and being a Berean; study Scripture to see if their teaching holds up, with the help of the Holy Spirit, that is best. Listen to people who are willing to change their minds according to what Scripture is telling us, not looking for proof texts to their already held beliefs. And I think Alica Childers, mentioned by someone else, and Mike Winger whom I mentioned in my first comment, are among those we can safely listen to, not follow, but listen to. God bless you.
