That’s exactly what I was thinking. I was also thinking about how the plant sim is a temporary life state and would revert to human is she had lived long enough. There’s got to be a cheat or at least a mod to disable that. Also to keep Bonehilda around for an extended period of time.

I'd be interested in seeing a version where it doesn't all go to pot. Like auto-paying bills and having jobs like other people have said, but also less fire hazards - like no fire places and an unbreakable oven/stove. Also if several of them had the Neat trait to keep things cleaner. I'd like to see something where they have traits that drive story progression more, like Family Orientated, Flirty, Hopeless Romantic, that kind of thing. I'd like to see Sims get together, have children, have relationship drama maybe, with only the occasional disaster or death. I do wonder if Sims 3 might work better for this maybe?

Those mods that make the sims auto pay and auto repair stuff would be really interesting in a challenge like this so you'd see what they do when everything still works and the water is still on (they would still probably all die in fire tho haha)

I'd love to see a future attempt with a maid, maybe a butler, jobs, bills on auto-pay, and some more fire alarms. And maybe a few vacuum cleaners plopped down 😆 I want to see how they survive and act when given an "ideal" environment for the year, and what kind of drama would ensue then. And definitely keep the fox and ghost lot traits, and maybe throw on some lot traits for animal visitors and other occult visitors as well. I want to see more drama, romance, random fox visitors, and random occult encounters (such as the abduction and the fight with Lilith)! 🦊

Love this sort of thing! I have a save that's a hands off legacy that has been going for about a year and a half real time that I run when I feel lazy. They do really well when things aren't set up specifically for chaos. Like I have auto bill pay, and things like repairs on autonomy.for them, as well as trying for baby, etc. No accidental deaths have happened, and no babies taken away. It's surprising. I consider it Sim TV. Like watching a soap opera. The only times I've touched them is to get them jobs and invite someone in at the door, just to maybe get some new sims involved, since they ignore anyone outside. A legacy needs new blood,. They get moved to unplayed households when elders if out of room. I just wish school and work popups could be disabled so I didn't need to make any choices for them. Sorry for the long post, I went into detail in case anyone wants to do this :) MCCC is the only mod needed for it, to enhance autonomy.

I wonder what sort of chaos there'd be in a game if you had MCCC, neighborhood stories, autonomy, and even Wicked Whims on for this, but ALSO if you had that if you left the game to run by itself for a year in REAL TIME (obviously you'd need to save and turn off your computer sometimes, though).

4:20 there’s a reason for that. Servos have never had ghosts. Makes sense to me, though. People have souls, which is why they have ghosts. Their soul is reaped and taken to the netherworld, and their soul is still earthbound until their connection fades, or they decide to permanently return. Servos, however, are robots. If you smash your computer, it doesn’t have a soul, so it won’t exactly be returning. Plus even if it is repairable, it likely loses all data due to the damage. Servos are the same, they’re programmed with emotions, but being a robot don’t have a soul. But there was a time that the University servo visited mine. The game said she was leaving, but she was actually broken. Without a broken down, dangerous, critical, or death message, the game centered on her, and it was over… It was really sad too, because she had JUST moved in next door, and I planned on my servo upgrading her after he was finished- he was level 9. So there I was, with Robotics’ robot dead, and nothing to do about it… They made a new one, but her life can’t be replaced… RIP Gadget Null…

this happened to my natural gameplay a few days ago [i have vampire sims]; except it was because i fell asleep with my game still open lmfao. i woke up & my vampire was in dark form hissing at everything, hungry, pretty sure they took my kids, my husband was nowhere to be found, our vampire butler was also running around the lot angry & hungry, the repo man took all my furniture & it was dark because the bills weren't paid. it looked like the apocalypse

This was an interesting idea - maybe next time leave auto pay bills on and give each one some type of maxed skill that's used to make money? All around it was definitely interesting. You could try one of my own challenge runs next. I call this one "the struggling performer" where I make a single Sim and place them on an empty lot. I then use cheats to set their money to 0, and edit bars/lounges throughout the world and put a bed or couches somewhere inside off on its own. Most comedy clubs have lounge rooms for the performers so I don't see it too far fetched that a club would have a room for the talent to relax/rest in. It's essentially a rags to riches runs, but what sets this apart is you can't go back to your lot to build anything. This entire run you live off the land, using your tips from either music or comedy routines (or whatever you choose) as your only source of income. Income can only be earned through tips, so unless it's added to your funds by means of you performing (or winning something in the game world) its not allowed. It adds a fun challenging aspect to the game as you have to rely on commercial properties throughout the world to fulfill your needs. Making friends and staying at other Sim's houses is allowed, but I felt it become too easy. The beginning levels of your chosen skill can be rough and add a fun financial challenge that's dependent on how hard your Sim works for the tips. Lastly, buy mode isn't allowed either - but you're allowed to purchase anything in the game world outside of build/buy mode that you can afford.

This video is hilarious. What I find most amazing of all is that you can leave your game running for so long without getting a popup notification of some sort that pauses the game. I can't play 5 minutes without an annoying popup.

It would be fun to do this and have the destroyed house be the starting point for a different challenge - your sim has just inherited a house and they're excited because it's a huge mansion, but the second they step into the house they realize why the estate tax was so low (because it's suffered multiple fires and deaths and everything is broken, the water and power are off, etc). So your Sim has to fix up their inherited mansion, starting at $0, while also going to work. Oh yeah and the place is haunted.

BUILD IDEA: house that looks just like any home BUT nothing is actually functional. so you need to place items so that they don't work or use items that aren't functional (like debug chairs etc). Suggestion: A Hysteria house. A nice home to meet needs and keep them happy, with playful aura decor everywhere. Kids play lot trait Cheat skills and aspiration so they all have joke star, maxed comedy and mischief, and all with the goofball trait. The other 2 traits random. No mirrors in the home. No stereo,TV, books, or computer. You want them to interact with each other! Let them go autonomous until one sim wins by being the only one not to die of hysteria.

help, i havent played the sims in a while so then i downloaded many cc's, took forever in create a sim for 3 sims and made a sparse house only for one of the sisters to die not even a day into the game bc the fridge and sink and oven in the kitchen randomly broke immediatly ..... just when i thought sims is kinda boring and they almost never die in my games XD
