Yes, lets! When other races do it no-one bats an eyelid but when WE do everyone and his mother has a problem. We SHOULD brag because we are humanity's FIRST people and we've been held down too long due to envy and jealousy. Every piece of land and status we claw back - especially in the Motherland - should be celebrated. We should be shouting from the rooftops about our prowess in everything.

So @Lily M, honestly real estates don't work like that. He began by saying he did get about 100k from colleagues and he might have added his own savings. Maybe built a 4 bedroom house which could cover him to borrow a bigger amount from a bank. Sells the 4 bedroom house maybe double the investment price. Hereafter the rest is like they say, history.

This is what I call a very matured advice. I have been seeing all of Wode Maya's episodes. As much as I appreciate the efforts he is putting out there to change Africa's narrative, I was a little afraid people would misinterpret his message and rush in to the continent and end up being disappointed. This guy nailed it though ..." Come in your own terms! " Africa in deed is a paradise. We all love these episodes because it's changing our continent figure. Wode Maya, I'm a subscriber and a fan. I watch you all the time and like what you're doing. Among all your interviews this is the only gentleman who has stated the truth about coming home to Africa. I like the fact that he told people to come on their own terms, not be pushed to come unprepared. This man spoke the truth. He was given an opportunity to come to Ghana, and he took it, besides, his family had the land already for him to build on. Not everybody has that. Preparation takes time, and don't forget that the majority of family members in Ghana and other African countries depend solely on most of us in the diaspora. If we all just get up and come, who is going to take care of all those who depend on us abroad. Coming home to build a business is a risk that needs to be thought through very well. All the people you've talked to and even yourself who keep calling the diaspora to come home don't realize that it is easier to leave Ghana and travel than to come back home unprepared, and preparation takes time. And don't forget that you can't just get up and come. You send money and family members spend it. Anyway, another of your best interviews was with Kofi TV, where you spoke about the harassment you faced in some African countries. Look at how black officials are treating African citizens in their own continent. Such things don't happen in customs abroad. You addressed those issues, so thank you for doing a good job.

Greetings Woda Maya, great interview, this gentleman is a high end businessman and doing very well in Ghana in the area of real-estate. Most of people coming from the diaspora can't afford those kind of real-estate prices, however there are. many who can. When you have time, do an interview with a low end real-estate businessman as well. Thanks so much for sharing and I do love the very hard work you are doing promoting a very positive Africa continent.

Is funny how some people don’t say anything when the western countries showing some false images of Africans people and children’s drinking dirty water and eating foods in rubbishes ,in their tvs around the world ,they don’t show the good sides of Africa to the world;And some of you are getting mad @papa Ode Maya for showing the all around the world our successful Brothers and Sisters !?Unbelievable !🤦♀️Papa Ode Maya yes;continue to brag more about our Mother Africa continent success .We love it 😍

Almost all these Ghanaians investing in Ghana lived either in UK or USA to raise capital. The problem in Africa is about how to generate capital. We still have a problem. If you get the chance to travel Abroad that is a plus but we still have a poor system..
@roapsinterlogence27904 жыл бұрын
but he hasn't intervied the millions who raised capital in Africa because his focus is the diaspora
