I think this is the last "New" NA superbike we will ever see; based on the declining interests from younger gen and this V4 already being more than what 99% of riders can handle, there is no more R&D from Manufactures' can or will need to produce.

I know and it sucks so bad being I’m finally at the point where I’m considering something new. I’m still on my 2nd R1 and it’s a 04. Had the 02 new and the 04 almost new and have stayed happy with my 04 I just love the chassis but want more power.

With the new Ducati V4S race system,tuned etc nothing is going to touch this bike !!! When parked on the right side of the road, youre supposed to dismount on the right side of the bike. All riding schools and courses teach this. Dismounting on the left side would have you stepping into traffic potentially. As a result lots of folks dismount on the ride side to make it a habit.
