one day i was sitting in my apartment was like this place has given me so much, i bet it could give yall something. i couldn't just do a regular apartment tour tho because it's idk there's somethng really special about it here. so i was like wait someone told me about VR at youtube black last year lemme email them, and that youtube exec (one of the few black women leaders at youtube actually) connected me to the VR team and they asked for a proposal. i spent two days working on HOUSEWARMING and then i got to the interview phase and boom. i got in! asked nic to work with me on it, and he was like duh. we flew to london, learned how to do VR, got to LA forgot then spent all july crying and screaming before we finally figured it out. a few months later i threw a party and filmed it in VR and HOUSEWARMING was made. it took a lot out of me, i had no idea how challenging it would actually be but i learned a ton from it. turns out i'm a lot stronger than i thought. that's dope to know. anyways, hope yall enjoy the series.
