Seriously, do people think that players in the NHL are complaining about ragging the puck in the offensive zone? No such thing, we see in the modern NHL it’s all about puck possession now hence why we don’t see so much of the dump and chase as we used. People just don’t know how to play defense. I agree the pressure system is wack though that the other team shouldn’t be able to build pressure without shots, I rarely find myself in situations where I get pressure locked and on rivals or champs. Key is to pressure them immediately upon zone entry if they are a player that likes to “rag” the puck in the ozone. You have to be good at player switching.

My takeaway from Eki’s pressure system video is that players should be able to change their defensive strategies (Collapse/Tight Point) on the fly. The system itself is fine
