There is nothing wrong in being emotional. Listening to Jin’s songs can do that to you as he is an emotional singer. You feel every word he is conveying in his songs which is why our emotions are evoked. It is a sign of a strong man that can display his emotions and I am glad that your mother was able to convey that she is proud of you as so many times as parents we forget to tell our children how proud we are of them. I am sure your father is looking down at you and is proud as well. You are a successful You tuber which proves you have what it takes to do what you want in life. Remember life is like a roller coaster with lots of ups and downs and twists and bends, go with the flow and enjoy the ride, love yourself and others and you will be fine. Jin's songs probably make you sad because they contain all the feelings he never expresses. All his sadness, pain, fear and unhappiness and that man can put a heck of alot of emotion in one single word much less an entire song so yea it's understandable that his songs will make you sad because they express the opposite of that smiling face he always shows us on a regular basis. His songs truly are his way to express the other side of him that he keeps hidden, he puts it all into his solo songs like even BTS are shook when they listen to his solos because they're so used to happy Seokjin, happy Seokjin who said he gets depressed often but keeps it hidden from army and from BTS and probably his friends, maybe even his family because his burden, his sadness according to him is his alone to bear because he thinks we won't love that side of him but little does he know that we already do. I love all sides of Jin because he is a beautiful human being that deserves all the love in the word and he shouldn't feel burdened but I get it, its hard to show all of yourself in that industry because there are countless people waiting to probably use it against you. Man I will never not adore this beautiful man and his beautiful stories that he tells through his solo work.

When it comes to BTS's solo songs, Jin's music just hits me in different ways. Not saying the rest aren't amazing cause they are, but Jin does something else with me that only one other singer (who is Adele!) could do to me. His songs are beautifully simple and heartfelt that they basically engulf you. I think one of the reasons is because when it comes expressing his emotions, Jin lets them flow throughout his music, and oh man! He just knows how to do it to ruin us in the right way. I cried here as well.

some people have a lot to say about jin sometimes (unreasonably) and it upsets me because he means so much to me. but then I just need to remeber how deeply he touches people with his music and artistry, not many artists can cause this reaction to people (especially kpop idols lol) and form a real connection with the audience.. and he's done it just by pouring his raw emotions into this. that's the ultimate goal for any artist ps. when you cried about your mom I felt like seokjin would totally understand you.. i remeber in his rookie days when he broke down on stage because he finally felt like he made his mother proud. emotionally vulnerabality is always refreshing.. never be ashamed of it

Rather than sad or depressing I feel "Healing" is a better definition for our Jin. He puts you in a place where you notice the regrets or sad thoughts you've pushed aside and ignore and take proper time to yourself to think about these things and move on with a accepting conclusion. Jin's Tonight made me tears, recalling back all the memories with my 19 year old dog whom I had to put to sleep due to kidney failure. That was 25 June 2021, today is 1st July 2023. Already been 2 years ago but 1 year ago, I kept myself busy, although I had never pass a day without thinking about her but this song made me able to sit down quietly at the balcony wee at night with my cigarettes, and tears rolling down my cheeks.
