Never let jungkook cover your songs lol he’s just got the most expressive voice and brings out emotions that I never noticed in the original songs.. and it’s something I hear about other members more than jungkook which is nuts… bc hell yes they all do this with their music… but jungkook does it with anybody’s music lol not just his own…. But he makes them his own bc he puts his whole self into everything he does… and always has… and his emotional execution is so powerful bc it feels so genuine… it feels like the words are coming straight from his heart and soul. IMO nobody does this like he does.. and it’s so underrated with jungkook.. even his vocals are so underrated as well… but this aspect is so frustrating to see it overlooked

Sebastián has been a real pleasure listening to all those interpretations, collaborations made by JUNGKOOK, and I agree that he is one of the best voices I have ever heard in my life. We have very good singers with incredible voices, but none of them manage to convey that angelic essence that JUNGKOOK projects with his voice. That makes him special, it's like he has sound effects built into his voice. It is somewhat complicated to explain but it is summed up in that magical and divine touch that he brings to his songs. If someone hasn’t already told you, Look At Me: Asian R&B/soul artist George. JK’s songs make me emotional. He deleted decalcomania on purpose. He never gave a reason. I asked during lives because I LOVE IT. Someone asked during the fan meeting last year and RM looked at him and said you deleted it-JK said he could record it again it’s in his head. Personally, I think he didn’t finish it because he realized he wasn’t the same person he was when he made the statement, paraphrasing I wish I saw myself, the way Army sees me. I think he realized he was confident and he could not be true to the song because he didn’t feel insecure anymore. 💜🙆🏾‍♀️

I don't think he was flexing in My time, the song is about him always missing out on his friends/stuff normal ppl did his age, always being in a different "timezone" than them :) "Airplane mode" just reinforces the fact he couldn't be reached/couldn't call them :) Anyway, I only heard a few of his covers before (some of the more popular ones I guess) and I always thought that he was a good singer but never got the hype over him. Hearing some of these songs now (and actually, I think my opinion started changing with Stay Alive) it feels like he definitely has a special skill/way of singing that is really pleasant to my ears. And I feel like BTS songs don't do it justice enough. Not that it's a bad thing, he still excels and is basically the vocal backbone of their discography lol, it's just that the special colors of his voice kind of wash away in those types of songs, imo.
