I own his entire catalogue and I disagree with many of your opinions. You slept on Stardust off Sentimental Journey, Goodnight Vienna is great all around IMO, you slept on Wrack My Brain, Old Wave is great with In My Car being one of my favorite tracks of his, I enjoy I Wanna Be Santa Claus when Christmas rolls around, I do agree that 2012 is bad though. My favorite solo Ringo track is Vertical Man and my favorite Ringo album is probably Time Takes Time or Goodnight Vienna. Weird that you passed over the EPs considering how he treats them like albums.

I love Ringo

Yeah after listening to everything he has and watching the Get Back documentary my appreciation for him has skyrocketed. While he lacked the genius of the other three, he was insanely reliable and acted as the glue that kept them together at many times.

@@pancakesean6888 Absolutely, Ringo always kept a cool head. Something that I personally noticed in Get Back is that even if he doesn't say much Ringo is a really good listener. he is always quietly paying attention to what the other three are saying. I think out of the Beatles George is my favorite song writer but Ringo is my Favorite overall.

At first I thought you were exaggerating when you said "Old Wave" was bad. After listening the hole album I can confidently say you where too generous to that trash of an abomination. I makes "Let It Be" look like a perfect Masterpiece in comparison. Hope to see more of this content, was pretty hilarious!

Yeah that one was insanely rough. It was one of two I watched at night due to being busy with work during the day and I was really not happy listening to it!

in my day, we didn't need 'data analytics' to know which song was good ... we looked at a top 100 list published by Billboard magazine! For seriously though, one needs only listen to Abbey Road to understand how the Beatles were doing individually John and Paul writing stuff about obsession, legacy, the inability to let go, George writing songs that either represent hopefulness after a long hard era is over, or that he intended to shop around to other bands instead, and Ringo writing about something that made him smile.

Give him credit, he's outlived George and John, and is doing _far_ better than Pete Best. And, he's selling his MS Paint art. What's not to love?

Yeah he seems like an all around great guy. While many of his songs are not great at all, there's enough in his solo discography worth listening to.

@@pancakesean6888 there's a keen intelligence in there that doesn't get a chance to shine very often. More than anything though, he's unique. That's something to be commended these days especially.

He's also the best actor of the four, and gives everybody a turn being the star when he tours with his hilariously-named band :)
