Yeah there are very similar vibes (despite the environment still being quite different in both games) between the victorian England background of bloodborne and the French "Belle époque" background of Lies of P. Oh hey! Salt and Sanctuary is a pretty hidden gem! Though Nameless God is a variation of this next song, I'd recommend listening to the "The still Palace" regardless, even if just to yourself. (Spoilers on when/where those songs play for context below) They're both heard at the very end of this mysterious game and they are very striking to the player when you finally get to hear either of them due to standing out among the other soundtrack within the game. "Still Palace" comes first and is in an area with no enemy encounters and just about nobody in the whole area. After a long bit of loneliness you then fall down and due to falling damage's animation your character is forced to kneel before the Nameless God before you can fight them. You're not too far on your take of what the Nameless God is either, though it's certainly more than that.

But after relistening it and discovering the themes for Zanni the First Mask, Spaventa the Great (Coward) and The Melted Rulers, i've been strongly entranced by the music. Thank you for this video. @@GeneralWarCrimes42-qb1wg I'm glad you loved it! For more songs like Zanni the First Mask, do you mean from Enotria specifically or in general? That's a good question. I'm not the best at explaining music concepts and i haven't explored the full Enotria OST, but if it helps i can try to describe some of my favourites. - Curtis, Prince of Laughter: A festival-like buildup leading to a point where it sounds like a female chorus is singing a tarantella on a big town square amidst intense festivities and acts. - The Melted Ruler (first half) / Pantalone and Balanzone : this one is filled with pomp. The vocals feel boastful, almost comical, but still threathening - Spaventa the Great Coward (second half of Spaventa the Great) : None of them quite have the same-feeling snares that Zanni the First Mask have, though. That's what sticks with me. Pantalone & Balanzone do have strings and get the closest, i feel, but Zanni the First Mask has a festive carnivalesque element to it while P&B are more so celebratory of themselves. Like they are parading around with their own achievements, trying to impress one another. For other music... the soundtrack to GRIME, especially the boss tracks by Alex Roe, are very sick. The Final Performance comes closest to the festive performative identity of Enotria, as well as the Whispering Mothers (sounding like a waltz), but the tracks for the Rockgiant, Amalgam and Vulture are *very* notable too. And especially the track Shidra! Would want to say the Travelling Players from Clash: Artifacts of Chaos as well. Perhaps the tracks The Boy Calls, Unstoppable and The Duels too. Hope these will all be of enjoyment and interest to you!

"Envy is such a thing. A man envies his neighbor, whose wife is very beautiful. A lord envies a king, who commands nobles. A king envies a god, to whom all men must bow. And a god envies... a god envies what a god cannot have" - King Jaret, one of it's many victims Some lore of the Nameless God (heavy spoilers ahead): Nameless God is an extremely powerful being which, by the rules of SaS universe, is not an actual god. It's not born of light, it can't be a deity by it's nature. Thus, being devoid of this divine spark, it desires it more than anything. Its envy, its lust for power have turned it into a cruel tyrant, who snatches and traps human souls along with entire piecies of kingdoms on its island in order to feed on them in its quest for godhood. A goal fundamentally unobtainable. "This thing shouldn't exist" - is a pretty accurate description. The Nameless God doesn't even deserve to be named. It's a powerful, vile and power-hungry predator that shouldn't exist in the world. Salt and Sanctuary is one of my favourite games. I'm so glad you listened to it's music, even if you didn't find it especially interesting
