What you said in the beginning still held true, she does struggle some, since her damage comes from extreme skill-shots. However, people who consistently hit those skill-shots leave almost no room for counterplay for anyone ability based. Now, even if you're good at hitting the combo, fighting hunters late game will be bad. If they have beads, they win. If they don't, then they'll kill you with autos while in the combo (randomly, Nox 1 persists after she dies, so the hunter will die a second after they kill you). Still, if they're careful with beads, then they'll kill you without dying every time they can use beads and you'll both die any time they can't (with hunter's late game objective pressure, they'll only need to kill you and survive once or twice). Warriors, guardians, assassins, and most mages lose to a good Nox super often. This seems to come down more to the skill of the Nox than the skill of their opponent with how much Nox combo can reduce counterplay options. Mage ADCs vary. Sol plays well into Nox if her 3 is timed correctly to escape the Nox combo. Chronos is middle ground for most of the game (but a vicious animal late game, because he's Chronos). Freya struggles a ton, since you can't use her 2 in Nox silence. Olorun is likely to fair as well as most hunters.

I mean for a while now if you hit that full Nox combo when going all damage, it slaps. It helps they literally can't do anything about it so it's confirmed damage unless they beads which is so worth it on normal abilities. I still don't think she's great because there's so many other mages, but she does actually hurt a lot. It doesn't help that Nox is almost always played as a support or tanky god in conquest because of her reputation, so she really becomes the "cc spam" mage

Sam this was one of the most fun games I've watched, never thought I'd enjoy watching nox lmao. Now for a suggestion, what about full power sylvanus with the same build you used on nox. Why sylvanus? Well because his ult is actually really powerful. At max rank it hits for 600+125%, nox only hit for 600+100% at max rank. And his ult is a long knock-up which I assume is enough time for the calamity rod to hit (I don't know but it probably is). So with blink and full power, you could simply blink, and walk away without even looking at your enemy and he's dead. Of course that's assuming he isn't building defense, and you already forced his aegis if he has one.

Now that I think about it, if for some reason calamity rod wouldn't hit in time, you could get the sprint that roots, and then you root your enemy (that would be assuming he doesn't have a movement ability or he already used it). Anyway that would be even more cheese lmao. I know it'd be hard be if anyone can pull this off it's you sam!

For all the ranked conquest mids I'm about to see play Nox, the reason this won't happen the same way for you is because here Sam is 6 levels over the Agni and that probably isn't going to happen for you for 3 reasons: 1) You or your team is going to feed so they will have the higher levels and damage 2) You will be the same level as them, so you won't have that power gap over them 3) You actually did get to be 6 levels over them so they are probably going to f6 before you get it off So when you build this in lane, and you land your abilities, and the enemy mid doesn't blow up like you are expecting; this is why. Level and item diffs are overlooked in these stomps and are harder to achieve in conquest.

It is actually a good match, I do Nox a lot against Agni in rankeds. I also play her in the solo lane quite a bit going cd early + defense/pen and you have the best peel a solo laner can provide plus damage + offensive CC.

Nox is just Scylla that's reliant on a combo for damage and no ult reset. 1 that root/cripples with damage, big circle with big damage on the 2, mobility on the 3, and nuke on the ult. Hit the combo, get discount Scylla damage.

Sam please do 2000 power chronos with nimble rod its so fun. Sands of time(left upgrade), Book of T, Bancroft, Nimble Rod, Telkhines, and typhon, upgraded bracer, both pots, red buff. You get 2000 power and you have max attack speed you hit like over 1000 every auto its super funny. I also got upgraded berserker when I did it just for fun, but that isnt necessary to get the power
