And the director was a real mom to her. It was through her love and care, that Carrie thrived and became a successful doctor. That was a huge difference with her POS mom who ruined her own life in the end. Instead of chasing after money, she should've gotten a job as a cleaner and made money to help support herself and Carrie. The mom learned her lesson the hard way when she realized the sheikh had no intentions of marrying her and the glamorous life wanted to live wasn't going to happen. She found out that not only he was married to 10 different wives, but also she was forced to work as a maid under them.

I know, the woman, Chloe, is the nanny in here. However, in Reddit, she's the director of the orphanage. Chloe adopted Carrie and took her home to her family. It was through her, Carrie saw what a real mom was and got to be part of a loving family. It wasn't her POS mom, but Chloe who loved and provided for her Carrie's mom really should've thought about the consequences before hand. Instead of living in a dream world filled with wealth and love on easy street, she entered a real nightmare. The sheikh was revealed to be a horrible man who had no intentions of marrying her, but he also has 10 different wives and she was the hired help. She's treated horribly by his wives who took advantage of her low status and made her life hell. The mom doesn't fare better with the housekeeper and the other maids who treat her horribly. She has to live with her mistakes for the rest of her life.

Her mom only cared about money more than her daughter. To her, Carrie stood in her way of happiness and easy street being wealthy. Thus, the mom willingly gave up her parental rights to her and left immediately after. I'm guessing that after Carrie learned from her elderly neighbor what happened, she was very hurt that her mom never cared about her, how her letters never went answered and was brought back to the orphanage. However, the director saw how upset she was about it. She decided to adopt Carrie herself and take her to her home. It was through the director, she saw what a loving mom really is and not the POS excuse of one. Karma caught up to her mom when she found out that her fairytale dream of marrying the sheikh wasn't going to happen. She learned that not only he's married to 10 other wives with his first one being his favorite, but he only took her to the palace to be a maid and had no intentions of marrying her. She's treated horribly by his wives who took advantage of her low status and made her life hell. The mom doesn't fare better with the housekeeper and the other maids who treat her horribly. In turn, she saw life as Carrie in the disappointment she felt each time her needs were ignored. The mom soon showed her guilt over it and realized her mistake. She promises herself that once she gets the money, she'll leave the palace, return home to get Carrie back and be the best mom to her. The mom's plans came into fruition, but not in the way she wanted. While reading the news, the sheikh's first wife tells him about her past. She had been known to mismanage money, never paid bills and how she abandoned her child at an orphanage from her PI with evidence to prove it. He finally confronts her alone and forced to confess, the mom explains her past and that she was afraid that he would treated Carrie horribly if she told him about it. Soon the first wife appears and mentions she did a background check on her. The mom is sent home in disgrace and with the negative media attention she got from the sheikh's first wife, no one wanted to hire her nor let her rent an apartment. Even her former neighbors treat her with resentment over how she treated Carrie. By the time the mom went to get her from the orphanage, the social worker informs her that Carrie has been adopted into a loving family and she is doing fine with her.

I feel we us blacks are still don't have the privilege that other races have or other humans ,I am not happy of black people not having representation for example in this anime why don't we find black people here and in a equal number as yts and not just people with brown or black skin with black features and hair texture.Maybe we are still not free from racism and white privilege and white supremacy 🤔
