lundqvist was the first ranger player I really grew to love. he’s the reason i’m the ranger fan that I am today. it absolutely breaks my heart that he’ll never win a cup, or with the rangers he won’t at least, depending on what he does after the buyout. he deserves one more than anyone in the entire nhl rn. I just feel so horrible for the guy. 15 years with us and he never had defense in front of him. and he STILL stuck with us all this time because of how much he loves the team, the city, and the fans. truly a legend. I feel like part of my childhood is just gone. but hank, we love you. I can not thank you enough for everything you have done for this organization. long live the king.

cjr1881 nah I disagree with that. There were times where his team failed him on defense and offense when it mattered most. Of course, sometimes Hank blew it for his team in the playoffs.
