What I love about myself is that my self talk always is positive. It's kind of embarrassing but I pretend like I'm talking to a friend that needs my support when talking to myself. It really helps. Your self talk is critical and when it is positive it helps you stand back up and keep going. I love that I have always had a positive and healthy self talk. Thanks Elle. I LOVED this video! i know this is dumb but i was depressed last year, i had really bad toxic friends and i wanted to die. i started high school, yes i'm young i know, but i had the choice to leave my friends and i did. i now feel so free to do anything and visit therapy, i love that i'm alive and i finally understand what being happy is. i'm proud of myself for overcoming the worst time i have ever felt and dealt with.

I struggle to find things that I love about myself, but I have been working on my mental health and self image/confidence. So I guess you could say one thing I love about myself is that after all the shit I’ve been through I am still able to hold on to hope for a better me with a better future. My favorite thing about myself is adopting new, healthy habits into my life to benefit my mental health. I started teaching myself how to play piano after watching Rocketman on a plane. this was a good experience to film bc, as a psychology major, we’re supposed to have social contact. i love that you put this out bc things like this is what i potentially want to do in the near future, like research. no one is supposed to go through things alone (i know not very many of you may not share the same faith but as a christian) God creates us to have those connections and interactions. studies upon studies have been made and have proven we need social interaction. it’s very hard to bring ourselves to talk to people but you never know if someone is truly alone. be nice, make friends, meet up, AND SPREAD LOVE❤️ life’s too precious for diversity 🥰
