So men and women seeing each other as equals would erase that, which is why they hate gender equality (and also same sex relationships), because it's no longer able to be dumbed down into: he pays her for this, so he deserves this, she gives this to him, to earn her (safety, living, food, shelter...) The controls shift. Sorry I can't explain it clearer, I'm off to bed now. Maybe I can edit tomorrow.

Also, if they say stuff that you know is wrong, but can't argue with, try to do research on that. Like if they say, religion is against it. I've seen multiple mentions in reels and tumblr posts about how in the Thora and Old Testament, they describes 7 different genders. That God and the angels are genderless and thus perfect. Or that the favorite phrase "man shall not lie with man" originally meant "man shall not lie with boy", thus not condemming homosexuals but pdf-iles. I'm sure you'll find sources if looking it up. What is it about not-straight that gets some people the Willie’s? It was ”oh won’t someone think of the chiiiiiildrennnnn” gave me the clue: it’s because, when you explain “gay” you have to (not really) use the suffix -sexual. That’s what gets the shorts in a twist. Having to say sexual in front of a kid. The other thing of course is that lgbtq+phones are inherently obsessed with what’s in everyone else’s pants-and are projecting that now on to the kidlets. (Underfunded undersupported schools in the US are performing nonconsensual gender reassignment?! I need a nap.) Edited to add. Never mind. Don’t hear me out. LGBTQ+phobia makes no sense.

funny, because i remember explaining it to my kids without having to say "sexual" at all. i think one of them said something about having to marry a boy/girl (whatever was the opposite of their sex) and i just pointed out that they don't have to if they don't want to. because some boys like boys and some girls like girls and some people like both and some people aren't interested in marrying anybody.

It’s literally just anxiety about something they don’t get, and indignity that they are responsible for their own actions, thus it’s your fault for making them have to consider it. They’re children who don’t own up to their own actions, they shift the blame to the stimulus *they* are having a reaction to lest they have to manage their own reaction like a fucking adult. They feel entitled to comfort, and it’s everyone elses responsibility (never their own) to not expose them to difference, it’s your fault for being noticed actually you must be trying to get attention that’s the flip that happens to justify their inaction and pass the buck. Your crime is costing them any effort at all, they shouldn’t have to ever be considerate to another person you should all be considerate of them and them alone.

I'm agender transmasc/transneutral, and I do like some women's clothes depending on the style ... but I mostly prefer men's clothes. I had some awkward moments that triggered big sadness and confusion. First: I was shopping with my now ex-BF's mother and we were going clothes shopping. We passed the men's section, and I saw a shirt I liked a lot. I stopped and checked it out. Then I hear it. "What are you doing? The women's clothes are over here." I longingly looked at the shirt as it slipped over my fingertips as I walked away to follow her. She then pointed out adorable girlie outfits that she thought I'd like. I did not. Another moment is I was shopping with my brother and we were in the clothes section. I saw skirts, and I got excited. Then I was like, "Wait, I hate dresses. Why would I wear a skirt? Oh no, am I actually a girl!? Would I be mistaken as a girl if I wore a skirt!?" I'm already constantly called Ma'am and lady and girl, etc ... but this triggered a new dysphoria. Skirt dysphoria. I'd like to get over this and just wear clothes I enjoy without fear of a gender label being forced on me.
