A couple of things just to help you out you can sign a reliever or two to help fill out your bullpen like you did with Cueto. You can probably bump up the pitching difficulty to HoF too it will make it a little more realistic and more of a challenge. Loving the series so far

To add to this, you can always trade the bullpen pieces at the deadline for prospects afterwards.

For relief pitchers you can attempt to claim some off the waiver wire as the season goes on. Won’t be good, but will still be an upgrade of your current bullpen. Also look in free agency

couple of things 1) it’s johnny quay-toe like Quavo from the migos 2) it’s RaMOAN YaReeAhs 3) for the pinpoint, it’s a mix of both your timing being off and the controller. everyone now and again it’ll happen because of the controller but mostly it’s just timing 4) for your bullpen, you can just sign a few FA pitchers, they’re usually pretty decent especially considering the state of your bullpen 5) put your pitching on hall of fame, it really doesn’t do much but it’ll make for a more realistic experience. you can keep your hurting wherever just try and sit back. watch the pitches. like in real life; never swing on the first pitch, unless it’s a meat ball. and hold your PCI up to see the full zone then adjust as you go to swing. 6) when simulating from the calendar you can just hit x. it’ll still give you the options for critical situations (those jump in opportunities), but instead of clicking the game and then sim through date you can just hit x

KENNY, the reason your pinpoint pitching is weird is because of the controller, try buying a wired controller like a Fusion, I had the same problem last year, hope this helps.

Kenny if you are playing on the new Xbox, the Elite 2 controller does not work well for pinpoint pitching. My recommendation would be to pick up a Power A controller as these are the best for MLB on the new Xbox

All wireless controllers have the issue and I love the suggestion! I use the turtle beach recon controller it has a lot of good functionality and more importantly it has no wireless function and power a is also a good controller had one in college that got me through the launch of apex!

Anthony Santander is the guy on this team I'd love to see you lock up in the off-season on a 2-3 year contract. I've been playing with him in franchise for years and he always plays really well and has a great swing. A guy worth building the team on considering most players will be shipped out before the deadline. I'd also suggest you move the PITCHING difficulty to HOF because the game just plays better on that difficulty. On All-Star you'll give up less than 3 runs every game no matter what, but HOF will be more fun for you I think.

Lowther was a top 10-15 prospect in the O’s system. Had around 30 innings in 2021 and struggled, but his minor league numbers were fantastic prior to covid eliminating minor league ball in 2020. In 2019, he had a 2.55 ERA at AA over 148 innings. As an O’s fan, I’m really hoping he can figure things out and return to form, as he’s one of my favorite prospects we’ve had in recent years

Kenny focus on contact right and discipline for hitter. Most pitchers you will face are righties. Discipline helps with OBP. For pitchers look at the walk rating BB/9. High walks means high ERA. Also look at FIP for a true measure of how a pitchers is performing. Don’t be afraid to get into the advanced stats! Good luck, excited to see the rest of this series!

Hey Kenny love the videos for the pinpoint pitching I had the same problem. It’s could your controller but probably not. Focus on your timing. If the timing is early (.10s+) and in the yellow you’ll hang pitchers. You gotta try and be late on breaking pitches and you’ll get it. Even if you’re late on it.(.10s+) it’ll shank into the ground instead of hanging

Hey Kenny, the best time to steal is in counts where you are more likely to get a breaking ball, like 0-2 or 1-2 rather than a hitters count of 2-0 or 3-1 where you’ll get a fastball.

The slider issue with pinpoint is ur controller prbly. If ur using a next gen controller it’s a bug. I have same issue. Old gen controllers work fine
