Darren, I have to tell you this story. Back in the early 70's when this song was so popular, I was 11-12, just before my voice started to drop. My older brother (3 yrs older) played guitar and keyboard in a cover band called the "Purple Haze". The band decided that they wanted to do this song in their shows. And they asked me to sing it. I sang with them for several shows (what a thrill) including the Junior Senior High School dance. Well, we performed "I'll Be There" at the dance. Later in the show, one of the cutest senior girls asked me to dance with her. I was on "cloud 9" What a wonderful memory and this video brought those memories rushing back. I started singing along and could remember practically all of the lyrics. I love you guys, not just for this video but for all of the covers you do. Thank you!
