"I'll Bet" became the basis for "It's Your Bet" (1969-73). Jack Narz hosted this 1965 classic; his brother Tom Kennedy was host of the latter series and was one four hosts (Hal March, Dick Gautier and Lyle Waggoner) that show had during its four-season run.

Wow, that's a lot of hosts for a game show that only ran for 5 years. 😊

Make that 4 years... Typo.

Super-fun episode and I think Jack Narz was truly in his element and having a ball. Thank you for posting, Eric!

Could a show like this work today?

I think so. It's all about people, knowledge and relationships (how well someone knows their partner). I was more a fan of "It's Your Bet" which came later, but I like Jack Narz on this one.

This is a nice surprise. I've never heard of or seen this game show. I was 4 in September of '65, so that may explain why. 😊
@@ericsamuelson5656 Thanks Eric, I've seen this one. He was on this show for a week, I was hoping for any other day from then.

I've heard that a lot of these older game shows got taped over with newer ones and are lost forever.

Nancy Culp?! There was also a Nancy Kulp (with a K) on The Beverly Hillbillies.
@ericsamuelson565613 күн бұрын
@jnadle1 her maiden name was Ashe. She was Robert Culp's 2nd of 5 wives. Their marriage lasted from 1957-66 until it ended in divorce. She died on May 25, 1983 at age 51.

@@ericsamuelson5656 - I was gonna say, this would have been before Mr. Culp's marriage to France Nuyen. Besides, this Nancy looked nothing like the actress who played Jane Hathaway on that said show.
