I grew up struggling but there were people like Basel along the way that helped me make my ends meet. My mom said before she passed away when I was ten years old, and she said Ray, "Ang kahirapan ay hindi hadlang sa iyong tagumpay." In English, "Poverty is not a hindrance to success."
