at 74 yrs old. Took Jesus Christ as my Savior at the age of 10. He has been my rock throughout my life. He is with me in the Good times as well as the Bad. He has done miracles in my life. And went with me through polio,and 6 surgeries. And one day soon he will be my Captain on that flight to my Eternal Home Calle Heaven !!!! No pain , No Sorrow, Just Peace ,Love for ever more If you don’t Know Him Get to know Him. For: he is the only way to Heaven. The only Light in a Dark and Dreary world. Great song, Great rendition!!!

I'm so happy to find this. My church used to sing this when I was a kid. I'm saved in the Lord Jesus Christ and one day I will fly away. I LOVE your video. It's so cute on the airplane. And then the cute kestrel bird flying too and you all fly away at the end. Ha ha. Great editing too doing all the parts.

Bird, That great bass playing of yours gives most all your songs such a wonderful unique "signature' that always makes me remember to thank the Lord for you and such special music. Music has always been the love of my life. The songs have a character of their own and flow so nicely with that great bass. I have never heard anything like it in my 77 yrs. Just sorry it took me so long to find you less than a yr ago. Like you, I spent a lot of time wasting my years after having been saved at age 12. But I am home now and you had a lot to do with that. There is a story about that too. God speaks to me as I prayerfully listen to some of my 6 albums you made each night and draws me closer each day. Thank you again for all you do and share. The first time I heard this song I was at a Barleen Family Chuck Wagon in Estes Park, Colorado. Everybody started singing along. I sat there feeling alone in the crowd. I looked to my wife and she was gladly singing. It was September of 1988. I had to learn this song. After dinner, I got up and bought that cassette from the people at the table in the back. Now I'm in, lock, stock and barrel. Sit at the base of the Rocky Mountains and tell me there's no God. Go ahead.

She was anti-God most of her life and during the past 3 months she was in hospital my prayer was she'd get to know Him before she died. I just hope she did.
