BECAUSE OF YOUR ENGLISH CADENCE IN BREAKING THE SPANISH DOWN, YOUR SPANISH LANGUAGE COURSE IS THE BEST I HAVE DISCOVERED YET. THANKS

I have ProSpanish and absolutely LOVE it! Even though I have the entire course, I love looking at the little snippets! I’m going through the course while at home during the stay-at-home orders! Wish me luck!

Nice, how long is it? It seems like the way he teaches you could just learn spanish in a few weeks or maybe a couple months.

The subjunctive is a monster. Not how, but why/when. I agree with Qroo Paul, who said 'the subjunctive is the cornerstone to learning Spanish'.

TENER QUE + infinito = to have to ... Me parece que tendré que ver todos tus vídeos pues serán tan útiles para repasar mi español. Gracias.😀 No sabía SEDAR = to sedate. Tendré que crear una oración yo misma incluyendo este verbo para recordarlo. 'Tendrán que sedar a mi hermana antes de la operación mañana por qué ella está tan nerviosa.'

Thank you for this. Always beneficial. I have something to say though. I have attended 2 weeks of intensive Spanish in Valencia last week of Feb and 1st week of March (yeah before this madness of covid19) and they dont pronounce yo as jo.. it’s actually YO (as we say in in Eng). What is the correct pronounciation pls? Thank you
@LearnSpanishLearnSpanish4 жыл бұрын
It varies quite a bit, even within the Valencia region. My yo isn't a full J, but you're right there is a touch of it.

Learn Spanish this is what I used to do. Proniunce as beteer Y and J (just to be sute everyone gets me)😊 thank you a lot for the quick answer.

This one is a great practice using the verb "tener" in the simple future tense, which is called the fururo in Spanish. I saved this one in my play list of future tense videos. This one is also good because it introduces a large number of vocabulary verbs that translate into English verbs that end in "ate".

When is "a mi (ti, si) mismo/a used?
@semperfiarcher4 жыл бұрын
"Yo mismo" is used when it's the subject (e.g. "I myself will do it.") "Mi mismo" is when it's the object or (e.g. "I believe in myself." which is "Creo en mi mismo.")

Because you ask a question twice and follow up with “what will that be?” You are limiting the time students have to speak the answer before you yourself give the correct answer. May I suggest you ask the question once and allow a little more time after you ask: “what will that be?”
@ericbaugher4 жыл бұрын
Actually to get full use of these videos you need to have your finger ready to hit the pause button. Well at least the first time you watch. You can watch these videos over and over, and the sign you have mastered the lesson is when you get all the answers right with out hitting the pause button. When you can say a sentence with out having to think first it means you are becoming "conversational".
