Wow, such a beautiful, yet painful song. I am honored that we are able to come into your life. Now, people, why isn't this woman a STAR?!?

Shelby Lynne is the real Southern Gothic if anyone is. What a great artist! Thanks for posting this!

I remember hearing her say several years ago something to the affect that music doesn't have to be loud to be good. This, like much of her music, is a perfect example.

Shelby Lynne takes you to the deep dark corners of life and then brings you back to the light. I never felt any artist the way I feel her

Such a heartfelt performance of an amazing song, off a brilliant record. Yet the Americana Music Awards never even nominate her.

Shelby is a well rounded song writer with some great tunes of late. "Hurt" which is old school R&B but with better chords, "Bend" a different feel, I guess still R&B, high end chord progression though. "Wall In Your Heart" which feels like a cross-over hit from the 70's and then this which is a very clever and polished delta blues meets straight up Alabama turn of the century old black man on a stool. The girl is understated and under the radar for her grasp on all genres and the craft of writing.

This better with just a guitar ... the drums and steel guitar are distracting.... Shelby's voice is all I need
