They eventually came back years later, but ever since then, it's seldom we are ever all in the same room, unless it's a Christmas or Thanksgiving or something. No one reaches out, and when they/I do, there's a lack of genuine connection. It's always a quick hi and bye kind of convo. The indifference between us is maddening, but i don't know if they are even aware of their own indifference.

I’m 37. Gentlemen look 25-35 years old. I get what you’re feelin. I was raised in Vegas for 31 years of my life. Recently I spent 4 years in a new state hoping to get away from the city where the world dumps its problems. 3rd most visited city in the United States.. I too have concluded I will die alone. The dying angry part is a balancing act. Somethings I totally understand to be furious about and somethings you’re wasting your energy. I get it’s hard to trust people these days, but in the end be on guard, but impose assumptions, have them but don’t jump to conclusions on a first or couple encounters. Let their actions speak for themselves. No manual or guide to this life. No magic quotes to live by because some of them were never recorded due to a number of factors. It’s just like online and offline. Don’t believe what see or hear, deposit the information in compartmentalize categories and go from there. Master the difference between a want and a need. “I want a kid, but I don’t need a kid”. Remember the purist and corruptionists are on the path of self destruction. Humans are designed to learn, not designed to be gods of destruction or justice. Without balance you have fallen from your path.

She deteriorated quickly and then she was gone. I regret not checking in more and wish I could go back, I told this to my mom before she went to heaven, she told me, I raised you and then you grew up, then it was time for me to let go of your hand so you can find your own way, so dont regret abything son. I feel like a kindred spirit to you brother. Almost everything you said mirrors my story beginning 24 yrs ago when my Pop worked himself into a sudden death at 56 yo. Your testimony in this moment mirrored my feelings and life choices after he died. Grief broke my heart and I broke my life despite many chances and opportunities to grow and blossom into being my best self. Things changed after years of pain and grief within me, although outside life hasn’t changed much. I went thru agoraphobia and I pray for you to not fall into that comfort zone. What you’re doing here is brave. But it might not feel that way immediately. RIP to your father. Don’t give up on life, family, love, care, and hope. The hard times are BS, the grief and pain you feel is making you stronger for another part of your purpose for being here. Why is this happening? I believe both our fathers had tragic endings not to break us, but to show us that the trials of men have no other reward except being true to your life’s purpose. His purpose brought you here and you made your children. You made a KZbin I happened to see and respond to. Gods plan doesn’t make sense to most people who believe right now because there are more people here who don’t believe in anything and they are working overtime going in the wrong direction. You gained a follower in me today. Keep telling your story💯🙏🏾

Hey brother. Feels like getting swallowed up by the darkness I'm seeing around me. Also finding it hard to feel connected to and not rejected by people, no fault of theirs or mine... just going through different spaces when pretence and reflexive programed reaction is said and done I end up further away from myself. Guess I need more practice, but life has its own plans. Well nothing for it but moving through it, take it on the chin or the balls sometimes comes more natural than humoring it, rising above it. Anyway thanks for sharing Amigo. Helps to not feel so lost and alone in the storm.

It's nice hearing you have a gf who still cares abt you. I havent had one since the 8th grade and im 30 now. I understand the family attachment thing, but everyone is the main character of their own stories and they're not thinking about most ppl unless they're always around them. Idk the situation with your kids, but you cant expect them to idolize or want to care for you if they havnt interacted with you as a father for most of their life up to this point. Whether its their mom's fault or not, it simply is what it is. As far as relationships, I dont leave the house much, but I do understand that it's the small interactions you have with ppl through their lives as they grow that builds your "relationship" with them. I dont like socially interacting that much, but I have learned that ppl really do care the more they see or hear from you

Perhaps you’ve been assigned this mountain to show others that it can be conquered. Here are a few quotes ~ People enter our lives for a reason, a season or for a lifetime. We only get disappointed if we try to force relationships beyond their purpose. Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to loose sight of the shore. I saved this one for last because even though your family has let you down, it doesn't mean that you have to cut off relations with everyone. We are neuro-biologically hardwired for connection with each other. In the absence of connection there is always suffering. Connection is why we're here, it gives purpose and meaning to our lives. So I hope that in time you'll obtain the courage to lose site of the shore and discover new oceans with other people that you choose as FAMILY. I know I've had to do it. The family that we choose for ourselves is more important than the one we're born into!

That is such a difficult, and painful situation to be in. I'm sorry you're going through this. I hope that you can find something that will bring you fulfillment. I do volunteer work, and I used to pay for other people's meals. Making someone's day can do wonders for your mental, and emotional health.

Sorry for your loss bro. One of the best ways to honor your father would probably be to try to heal the relationship between you and your kids. Strength and peace to you and yours. 🙏🏿

It would be easy for people to criticise some of the stuff you've said. But the truth, I think, is a lot of people are where you are and in the same mindset as you. They just try not to think about it or say it out loud. They fake it but never truly make it. I definitely relate to a lot of what you're saying, especially in regards to feeling "done". I just wish I could live a life where I can have my own little nook with a nice little garden and just be left alone. No job to soak up my free time. No coworkers pretending they like me so that I'll open up and give them something to gossip about. No judgment for not having a social circle, even though the people judging never call or ask to hang out. No feeling bad about my poor social skills or being laughed at behind my back for not dating/being in a relationship. Just let me enjoy my coffee in the cold morning and sleep at night. It's not much to ask for but people are always coming out of the wood work and bringing their BS with them.

My family is violent and cruel. I moved 2500 miles away from them when I was 18, from Pennsylvania to California. I'm a thin yogini looking woman, have a Master's, live in San Diego, walk on the beaches with my rescue dogs. It seems that I have everything. Nope. I'm done with humanity and I have isolated myself. I quit working, went into poverty, and am finally collecting disability. Trauma, C-PTSD, severe anxiety, Type 1 Diabetes (formerly Juvenile Diabetes). I live in a small mobile home that's falling apart but it's in a nice park with very low HOA fees, 12 minutes from the beach. I climbed the roof myself the other day to try and repair a leak and almost fell off. I focus all my love and energy on animals and rescuing animals. Since I don't have a lot of money, I come up with healthy holistic recipes and remedies to keep me and my fur babies happy and healthy. When I leave this awful planet, I'm leaving my mobile home to a grassroot animal rescue group.

Being real doesn’t pay when everything in the world is fake (including our desires). Theres a shift happening and that’ll change soon. Hang in there until then. You’re already rich

Until money becomes obsolete and people learn how to grow their own food we will be stuck in this system. There is really no escape from this entire machine, especially with global warming and habitat loss creating feedback loops that will further limit soil fertility and biomass.

Friend, I encourage you to explore the concept of The Dark Night Of The Soul, Ego Death, or what the christians call The Wilderness Experience. You are at rock bottom right now. (I've been there). This is typically where God meets people. Life has stripped you to your foundation so that the foundation can be fixed and then built upon. Opportunities will eventually present themselves to begin that building process. Take them. It is just not possible for you to know right now where they can take you. Continue to put one foot in front of the other and shrug off the setbacks. What you are dealing with right now will never fully leave you, but the burden gets lighter. Life, by the way, is far more meaningful as you carry this burden. In time, you will find that you would not trade this experience for anything, for it was dearly bought.

This guy succeeded in the first well being test and that's recognizing his life. Very important to recognize your truth good or bad, in yourself and in others. Graduating to his next step.

Being angry and dying alone won't stop the problem people will just moved to the next person you are the only one who can keep your head above the situation you are going through because once you get off the camera no one knows you anymore may God help you and keep you moving in the best way possible and be strong because the world we live in does not care about the week so look up to God who gave wisdom and understand to keep you so put your trust in him and you will overcome 🙏

Indeed. I feel the same way. I don't have kids for similar reasons. My father died (pancreatic cancer) about 2 years ago. We were not very close either but we did talk. He also died angry and alone. None of his children died by his side. When he died I soon realized I would probably have a similar fate. But like you, I don't give up. I try to stay goal-oriented and just push myself. Cheers

I can’t tell you how much respect I have to just hear someone in this society say honestly how it is for many people. Why pretend? Why even say it shouldn’t be like that, if it shouldn’t be like that then it wouldn’t be, but it is. I can’t pretend with people. It’s the one thing that I just can’t do. Like, you know if you have a “family” or not. Nobody has to tell you that. It doesn’t make you any less human.

Nah bro you don’t need to die alone, Jesus loves you, and He wants to speak you. Prayer also helps. And also besides your relationship with God He is also wants you to have healthy relationships in your life. You don’t need to be lonely. Might’ve not communicated this in the best way but i hope it blesses you. God brought you here, not alone but with others to life with, He also blessed you with the ability to have good character and there is also others who want to bless you and be there for you. Ask him to place the right people in your life.
