Glennis Grace is just one of the many artists in the Netherlands that the world needs to hear. I say this not to diminish Ms Grace's art. People talk about talent, that is half of the equation. The other part is technique and practice, practice, practice. Anouk is to rock what Glennis is to soul. Although, to call Anouk a rock singer is to do her an injustice. As a singer-songwriter Anouk is always expanding her art. She is just as comfortable singing reggae, blues, rap, jazz, dance music, backed by a Symphony Orchestra or a single acoustic guitar. From neighboring Belgium is Lara Fabian, classically trained she is powerful singing a Mariah Cary cover or the aria from the opera "La Traviata"!
