This was still one of the best concerts of these musicians, without gimmicks, gymnastics and long speeches ....

Sono dei fenomeni !! scherzano ridono fanno casino ma non c'é nessuno al mondo che riesca a rendere il jazz cosi' bello e accativante come loro. Grazie a you tube che ci permette di partecipare al loro divertimento.

Excelsior! I keep waiting for the stage to revolve and for a crane shot over Stephanie's shoulder showing her working the keyboard!

So sweet! When you can catch something like this live, outdoors and all, it will never be forgotten. Reminds me of the old Newport in New York events in New York City in the mid-1970s when they had outdoor events. Saw swinging Zoot Sims quartet in a roped off downtown block that I will never forget.

Please and thank you . Nothing is perfect except musicians having fun . And from my view , the foot rhythm * aren't they doing well. I am so happy to be alive and I never thought a computer would suffice to show something live and this was recorded so long ago but the memory still lingers of what , and how well every artist who has ever played this song , this is a great great show enjoy . Just enjoy .

What a Great configuration! So much Amazing talent all on One stage!! Nicki Parrott is such a great bassist, she doesn't get enough recognition, IMHO.

I love the stage and how all the players are in synch with their rhythmic foot tapping ...you can actually see it! and you can almost hear Stephanie's left heel make sound tapping the wooden stage in perfect beat. so cool !

Have to love that piano intro on "Dream" (it's the thing to do) another 40's hit and then with just seconds to go, into "I'll See You In My Dreams". Watch as Stephanie and the bassist exchange glances like, "Yeah....What's he doing....He's got the wrong song...". And then he looks up and all is well! Funny!
@hughmcilveen22355 жыл бұрын
So the question is...Did Rossano kid them when he began an intro to "Dream", (watch Stephanie and Nicki glance at each other nervously), or did he just get a little mixed up?. Answers on a postcard please.

I'm the videographer, who creates and provides these videos for free -- just so that people seated at home can make sarcastic critical comments. Alas. I wonder how MishaG9 would have done with one camera and a tripod? You forget, Sir, such things. And perhaps you should ask my friend Hal Smith if he feels slighted before being acidic on his behalf. One-camera live recording is not the same as multi-camera film. So please do think on that, enjoy the music, and satirize just four bars less. Thank you.

Remember the same tune with Stephanie and Dick Hyman. One of the grand olde men of this era of Jass at the end of his rainbow. She did not pause long on her exit while Hyman was right there with her. So Stephanie will never listen to your stuff because YOU did not really hear Dick OR having heard were blown away to a different place!! That is the way jazz works!! This guy here is nothing in the shadow of that Hyman performance which was probably one of his last!!
