I was exposed to one of his songs on Sirus radio. Never heard of him (not a surprise - I just don't listen to music much anymore). Mercy ! What I've been missing. I'm now a fan! Gotta get some on my shop sound system.

Its a genre of gospel music, its old school church. Ive worked with this man before and he is very well seasoned and knows his craft. This may not be your flava but there are folks who love this stuff. Part of being rounded is knowing all of the elements of church music. Do you really gain anything by downing a man that you don't even know?

Moses Tyson music sounds very soulful and churchy. This is the way Gospel music should sound. Many of the younger musicians are missing this traditional flavor. They have great talent but they overplay and are too jazzy. Its ok to have a contemporary style of playing but many of the young musicians go to far. And lets keep in mind we are to play in a matter that will glorify God. Too much running up and down the organ like a jazz musician just doesn't fit within a church setting,

@Raydaniels1 hi my brother,your opinion is rightfully yours ,but mine differs and would ask, if anyone knows,what any of the original musicians sounded like, from before king david and there after? i know the answer,and we should all know what comes from a true and rightfull place will reach the same,.and same goes for the opposite,we ought to remember who,/what is the church,and rmbr,gospel means good news,and the form came out of jazz,music is notes and chords and melodies.and came from hvn.

Stop with the name calling. You need to get saved. The Spirit of God will not allow you to say such things without being convicted. A lot of people can play an instrument, but there's something special about an anointed musician. If you can play, that's great but don't put other people down.
@ermharri14 жыл бұрын
@FULLTIMEPREACHER you must not play the organ

It sounds nice, but all he's doing is a common blues scale with a 6,and a 2 here and there.
