I Looked For A Missing Cat Then THIS Happened!

Why would an owned cat escape? Cats are sneaky and fast on their little legs. I've seen videos of cats getting high and calm out of catnip. I am not suggesting that at all I just mentioned it. Even big cats seem to enjoy catnip.

It's not catnip, cats don't "dart" out when on catnip they try and stay as close to it as possible, roll in it, sniff it and eat it but I get what your saying but catnip is not the cause in my experience. Edit: Also, depending on the cats age and personality the cat could have seen a bird or another animal/bug and went for it, especially if the cat is not used to being outside, dogs also do the same thing. Cats can be unpredictable and sometimes the things we see them do we can't understand but it does happen.

No, what the guy said is that the cat just walked past him outside and it got scared by something which was the reason it started running and it hid under the neighbors van throughout the whole night when the niehgobor started to drive to work when someone else noticed after it was too late and the cat had ran
