If you ever come across a water tower, any kind of tower in general, stay away from the railings. People (myself included) just popped through them while trying to see my surroundings, fell to my death and ended my 140 hour run in the blink of an eye.

Cooking feels like a kind of rocket science in this game. Took me long to find out. Get some pans and cooking pots (like 4 of each) and always grab all the extra ingredients You can find (salt, pepper, oil, spices, etc.) in food shops or normal kitchens. The white cooking device is powered with the generator and the red ones are powered with propane gas. Collect maybe two of each. Once empty, You can fill up the big propane bottle on some huge propane gas tanks, You find at gas stations. Take a trip to the "Klenovnik Hospital" in BO and get yourself all the 8 (or was ist 9 ?) cooking books. You find them in the library on the second floor and You need them in Your inventory to unlock all recipes. Maybe You like to start gardening for an income of vegetables an fruits. Many recipes need potatoes, tomatoes or cucumber and such. And fresh water too. Other ingredients like rice, pasta or some cans You can only find (rare!) or buy at the trader. Looked up Your recipes? Collected all the needed ingredients? Got fuel? Got propane? Got every thing You need in Your inventory? All right, then it is cooking time. Some recipes take a long time. You can set up a timer alarm (supporter pack needed!) and You should grab the food BEFORE it is finished. Just shortly after the bar turns green will be a good spot. Congratulations! Perfectly cook meals. (By the way: You know that You can build tables, right? Who likes to cook on the floor?) Thanks for the entertaining videos, sincerely Yours, Gringo the Scum Chef ;-)

There are 9 cooking books (you could find a lot of them also in library/old school), which are required to cook all stuff you don't know yet. You can learn recipies by cooking stuff perfectly with all ingredients and getting 5 stars. Then books become unnecessary. Just don't eat food you made with tons of fat, unless you want to get fat and slow. The first meal of all kind is usually a waste (too much fat) just to learn a recipie. BTW, metabolism in SCUM is quite complex. There are 4 attributes: strength, constitution, dexterity, inteligence. You can grind first three up to 8, 5, and 5 rspectively. Build your strength by consuming proteins and walking heavy loaded, constitution by running or doing stuff that requires a lot of edurance, and dexterity by burning your fat. More strength gives you less recoil in guns, you can punch or hit harder with melee weapons, wear heavier gear. Constitution helps fighting infections, gives more stamina, you use calories more efficient. Dexterity speeds up your actions (crafting, reloading guns, eating). High inteligence (5 is maximum) speeds up grinding all skills. Inteligence can be rised temporarily by drinking stuff dropped by Razors or permanently by finding memory modules you can charge up in abandoned bunkers.

This game isnt about a zombie apocalypse. You are a criminal and this is an island that has been set up as a sort of gameshow. Like running man. The puppets are other prisoners (and other people) who were turned into puppets and you are being filmed and broadcast as a show for others to watch. So having civilian NPCs wouldnt make much sense

Hey, I've been watching your videos for sometime now. I started playing scum a few weeks after you uploaded your first video. Frankly, I learn stuff in game because of some of your mistakes. I mean, you go find out 1st hand, then I learn from it. That's really helpful for someone starting out like me. :) Anyway, I have some tips I learned on my own. Remember when they did a partial wipe? I learned that if you buy gold ($1,000 per 1 gold) from the Bank, the gold doesn't get wiped (unless they do full wipe) and then you can sell that gold for $750. That will help you buy some items early on. I already have 30 gold on my character. You will need to buy the gold atm card though, that's $5,000. :D Also I noticed you are having hard time placing the car jack on the correct side of the car. The correct way is to right click on the car (the side which you want to place the car jack) and service it from there. Do not click on the car icon, right click on the actual car. ;) I found that out myself as well.

I remember on one of the eps you said something about getting low on needle for sewing/repairing your gear.you can easily get Bone Needle by cutting off dead puppets & use their bone to craft Bone needle.

Last time I checked Samobor (The Big City) there were at least: 3 gun shops, 3 hunting shops, 2 chinese shops (DAO swords are like katanas). There is also military loot at the gym hall (biggest place seen on the map in Samobor) with a police station in close proximity. Also, next to the Old School is a small military loot place. Samobor is also a good place to collect tons of metal scraps if you're a builder or just want to make ammo. BTW, that building with puppets walking through walls in Fire Station has a lot of crates with crafting materials/tools on the 2nd floor.

You can take the food off when it turns green and You can find Cook books to get more "fuller" meals, and those meals with rice or pasta is 👌 you get full stomach and it gives alot 👏👏

There’s a fish factory by the shore to the left bridge in from the right if you travel the coast up on the left. It’s gated in but there’s like 100 cans of tuna and 20 cans of sardines every time you go. It is great protein for strength training. I guess you can one to two shot punch zombies out with max strength. 😂

Your using admin controls to change the time, you can also use them to teleport, if you go to where the car is and hit Ctrl +C you will copy cords, then go back to your base and park the truck and find the teleport command and hit Ctrl + V to add the cords...Also to get the full amount for the car you'd have to change the Traders funds, otherwise you will only get the 10k for the car...10/10 is how many uses you get if eating the meat raw, once cooked you only get the 2 uses but the stats per use are raised after cooking usually...You could have looted cookbooks in the school library and learn to cook better meals...

Two reasons. 1 - High crime rate, prevents break-ins. 2 - Civil unrest, if there are riots and looters in the streets your business can be relatively safe.

Hey Torak!! Great videos just a little tip for you. Your hand gun the glovk is good but only holds 13 bullets and uses .45 acp. You should switch to the hsf19 and 9mm rounds. The hsf19 can hold 20 rounds (19 in mag 1 in chamber) in multiplayer its a way better gun. For pvp it just holds more rounds try it out !!

Greeting. It would kill the robot, so I managed to disable them but never killed them, unfortunately they respawn and activate so my experience with them is that it is difficult to disable them at least with the arsenal you currently have. I tried this with the M82A1 and the RPG7, with the first one I needed a lot of bullets, but with the RPG7 it goes easier and faster. I don't know what sense it makes to waste ammunition on something that will be there again and bother us. In future adventures, you'll have to be careful what you eat, if it's fatty, you'll gain weight, mostly that part is very mysterious and make sure that the calories you consume are spent in muscles and not in fat, there are a lot of things about food, you have to make sure that all the vitamins are within the allowed limits, and not always possible. Where is your fat or dexterity number, you go with the mouse and see if it says if you are gaining or losing mass in some optimal conditions, there should not be anything red on those 4 numbers. For the most part, it is made quite realistically, and for future cooking, find or buy: Oil, Salt, Black Pepper, these are some basic ingredients to make the roasted meat perfect. We should be careful what we eat is not too fatty, lighter food or healthier, and we should also run, swim, but let's be realistic, life is not perfect. GOOD LUCK.

The truth behind having same instances/props/buildings in different games is that those were simply bought from third-party 3D vendors, so no one was stealing. Some indie games always have the same stuff, sometimes even same packs of stuff. After playing such games as: "Prop Hunt" or "Only Up!", which are made completely of a free props, you'd start noticing same "free" stuff even in AAA games, rarely, but pretty noticeable if you're familiar with it. Frankly, development of custom graphics is expensive & time-consuming, so free props are starting to appear more & more often, especially in such games as this one, or Mist Survival, with big open world... If I was its developer, I'd try to make it as completely as possible out of free/cheap objects from different freebies & free bundles, probably, it is so.

Just a thought, if you don’t mind taking a hit to your fame points, you could put all the gear away and kill your character and respawn in the sector of your vehicles to drive them back to base instead of the long run. Love the videos though 👍

My game froze when pulling into the gas station by the massive store near the outskirts of the city, crashed and when I reloaded the game, my truck and all the loot inside it had despawned, and in it's place a single puppet was waiting for me, and screamed. I then proceeded to take backshots from an entire hoard, die, and then proceeded to delete that prisoner and quit the game left feeling a variety of different emotions. Please send help, I am dying inside.
