14:00 rlly hit me hard, so basically I have this friend who I’ve literally known since first grade and now we’ll be Sophomores soon, we’ve literally always been in the same school since then besides 3-5th grade and we’ve known each other so long it literally feels like we’re sisters. But these days I feel like we’re becoming very disconnected with each other, it’s not like our friendship is toxic but we’re honestly just so different atp, she’s a reserved introvert and I’m loud and extroverted, and she’s also always so critical and technical in every conversation we have and it feels like she’s trying to one up me or something. Tbh I try to keep my cool but every time I talk to her I get so anxious about not producing the perfect dialogue or she’s going to correct me. As kids she was honestly the bolder one while I was a little more reserved but I was always crazier and she was always a little more sane, but now I feel like I’ve become bolder and crazier and now she’s the exact opposite, quiet and reserved, so both of us have changed drastically, even my mom’s noticed that she’s literally so diff now than she used to be. And obviously knowing that we were so close to each other you’d think we’ve seen every phase of each other’s life since we used to call like 10 hours a day nonstop even when we weren’t in the same school anymore but I think when middle school hit and we had no classes and lunch together together we kinda stopped talking for a bit, we never ft much because our school had sm work and then lockdown hit and we hardly texted each other then and then 8th grade came and things became rlly awk when we kinda realized how diff we were, idk if she’s even noticed it yet or if it even bothers her but we’re so diff now AND I DONT LIKE IT, and I don’t get what changed but we were inseparable like sisters and I just want our old friendship back. Now recently in Freshman yr we literally had 5/8 classes together so maybe it’s just burnout from spending wayy to much of our every day with each other? Idk but I don’t want to unfriend her since she doesn’t seem to have issues with me and we have similar friends that we both get along with but idk why I just can’t kindle with her correctly, maybe it’s all in my head and I’m overthinking it so I don’t rlly want to say anything ugh 😭

I was in the same condition as you,a year ago. We were bestfriends for 10+ years i started cutting her off slowly and now we have moved on and we both are happy.
