Yesss, your locs are absolutely gorgeous! I just SUBSCRIBED 💝. I have traditional locs and you make me want to try micro locs 😩🙌🏽✨. I loved watching this, definitely gonna do this tag.

Losing a loc like that is normal. It happens sometimes. Just gotta make sure that you take care of the loc when maintaíning it so it doesn't get too thin. Also don't tug too hard at the roots. You might want to add conditioning to your routine as well because dry sisterlock/microlocs can easily snap. Your hair is growing beautifully 🤗💯

That is not normal. She is losing locs because that loc was way to small.

No, it's not normal for locs to fall out. She needs to address it now while it can be remedied.

My loctition said it happens and it's not a red flag. It can be prevented, but it's not a big deal.

If this was an abnormal occurrence in the microlocs/sisterlock community there wouldn't be techniques for reattaching locs.

Your hair is beautiful, but maybe they are too thin to withstand the mounting weight. Otherwise they would not be falling out. Signed, a longtime loc wearer

@queenbeethatme100 I don't even have locs but I appreciate your knowledge....it makes me want to shy away from mini braids as a protective style for my natural hair. I was planning to mini braid my natural hair for three months but now I won't. Sticking with my mini twists.

Dr Francene Gayle Just wondering, why do you think twists would be a better three month style over braids? To me it seems braids are more suited to keep hair in place and separated from other sections, especially over time. I like hearing others’ experiences.

@@Joce-bl7qi I have high porosity hair....I had my hair in braids for 2 months.....I washed and Deep conditioned as usual.....on taking down my braids, my strands felt DRY. I wondered whether all the strands were actually being conditioned and hydrated over this time. With twists, I never had that degree of dryness and there is ease of ensuring that all strands are being drenched, hydrated, conditioned.

I lost a few a locs before my 2nd year and after I had my son I lost my last row of locs and my edges ( I guess all of my edges ). But it grew back. I hope you continue your journey and your locs look great

when u were explaining how you really didn't like doing your hair and never styled as the reason that aided you in your decision in getting locs.. it made me think how i am in the same situation rn. i have my hair in twists because i hate having to style it all the time and i don't take very good care of it.... i will definitely do some more research on locs :D

Try combining a few in that area or adding hair (kinky human hair) to existing locs

I too always do twist outs and I'm getting tired of them. My sides are a little thin on the sides so I try not to wear hairstyles that pull my hair on those areas. But I'm getting bored. I started locs with two strand twists, but took them out because I didn't want the sides of my hair to thin out even more.

It would be so cool if you did a “Trying Chloe and Halle hairstyles for a week” video Btw. you inspired me 10months ago to get micro locs as well...I really love your videos ❤️.I’m also a big Chloe and Halle fan.
