Martine Wright lost both of her legs in the London 7/7 bombings. She was in the carriage where the bomb exploded on a later train than she would usually take because she was late on her way to work. She was late because she had been out having a few drinks to celebrate London being awarded the 2012 Olympics on the evening of Wednesday, July 6th 2005 and decided to stay in bed for an extra 10 minutes on Thursday July 7th.
Martine reveals the terrifying moment the bomb went off, what happened in the immediate aftermath of terror and confusion and how the actions of a random stranger saved her life. From the crush of a bomb on the tube and the months of rehabilitation and adjusting to life in a wheelchair, Martine went on to represent Great Britain at the London 2012 Paralympics.
This is her story.

Don't blame yourself having a hangover after having a good time with friends on the fact these terrorists and extremists are pure evil and have absolutely no regard for human life. It was all their fault, it is always their fault for what they do to other innocent people across the world.

You talk like we have terror attacks in a regular basis here in the Uk. Ask yourself how many people die as a direct result and indirect result if alcohol every single day in the uk. After you find that answer, I think you’ll find what the real problem is.

The title is a bit misleading. Not at any time did she say being hung over placed her in the line of the bomb. She simply says she was running late because she had a late night. By using such a title you are reducing her experience to click bait. Shame on you. Sensationalism for cash no doubt.

Title is a strange one. It should read, ‘I lost my legs because the immigration services failed to do their job’. Yes, the powers that be will call these ‘homegrown’ terrorists, however the ideals and attitudes present in their land of origin travelled with the perpetrators family as many fail or even want to live life according to British values. This was an awful day that I will never forget.

Sorry to call her out but the most you can loose in blood is 50 % before your heart stops and you will fall into coma and have cardiac arrest . 80 % blood loss is incompatible with life so I don't know why they are telling her that .Either they are lying to her or she is to make it more dramatic .Not that it needs to be because she lost both of her legs. Sorry but I'm a very literal person and it really annoys me when people twist the truth !;

I see that alcohol doesn’t do any good but alcohol did not carry the bombs …terrorists who were so deluded that they chose to harm those they do even know did that. The thing is those terrorists do no know that they will have a huge price to pay for a very long time. It is not possible to harm others without harming yourself but in ignorance these terrorists blinded by their blind beliefs didn’t understand this.

Everything, this was a false flag bombing, the police were actually training at all three locations the attack happened, no mention of who actually done it, and why would a terrorist waste resources on bombing the public, it's funny no Muslim terrorists have ever targeted politicians.. if he had a backpack on four feet away from her, how did that just blow her legs off? The bomb was under the train not in some imaginary back back..the same train was under so called maintenance by sub contractors the night before.. they planted the bomb..this has been one massive false flag.
