It's too much, too fast. He is heading straight for a new injury. And this one will probably be worse. It is incredible that he didn't learn the first time. He even said it himself, that the injury was because he got too strong too fast. The tendons and ligaments takes longer time to strengthen. By this time next year, his career is probably over, possibly with a permanent injury.

Good that you're working on your grip Hafthor. You always drop the frame or farmers implements every event at least once, usually when you're winning easily time/distance-wise. If you can hold on to the implement you can beat Matteusz and Mitch in the grip carry events.

@@TommiSRP yeah i love counting plates, especially if i dont know the bar-weight and of each plate 🤦‍♂️
@TommiSRP
@TommiSRP 4 ай бұрын
@@sepix048 Sorry, I'll give you a quick rundown! Plates are generally the same weight by color, in KG: Green - 10kg, Yellow - 15kg, Blue - 20kg, Red 25kg. In pounds the ammounts usually are: Green - 25lb , Yellow - 35lb, Blue - 45lb, Red - 55lb. 🦾I hope that helps you with the plates in the future, bars can be a bit trickier, generally Olympic and standard bars are 20kg, occasionally you'll find a 25kg one (or even a 15kg one, but Thor wouldn't have the need to use one). Elephant bars are 30kg. You're mostly working in between 20kg - 30kg. When it comes to editing thought, cutting is the foundation of it all. Good cutting combined with excellent pacing already give you a good viewing experience. Add music, make your pacing flow with it and most people will enjoy the video as is! Infographics (like weight on bar) can add value, but are the things that require the least skill. I hope this cleared a lot of the things up! Happy Holidays champ!
@sepix048
@sepix048 4 ай бұрын
@@TommiSRP thanks for this nice long comment, but you didnt need to do all this when the editor just put the weight number in you know? Like you said it doesnt take much skill and is super easy to do, so why not just doing it? But yeah, happy holidays bro!

Koma Svo King Hafthor Julius Bjornsson, 72 days to go, one day at a time. LFG! ❤ 20:44 Bigger handle for the 188 kg Thor. Smaller handle for the 144 kg. I'm curious to know which hand you will use for the heavier stone. Also, please read the Dinnie Stones Wikipedia article when you get some free time. There's good information there. 25:04 With refer to the awkwardness, in addition to the grip pain, the 30% weight imbalance between the two stones and balancing the bigger stone will be the next big challenge. Anyways, so glad you bought a pair of Dinnie handles, lets progress every week. Hope you saw your Loon Stones WR (still unbeataben for almost 9 years now) for a source of inspiration for this new challenge! Koma Svo!!! And the moment of the video for me: 18:06 Desolated the platform! 😂 Classic Vintage Hafthor Julius Bjornsson! 💪🏻👑

No boys and girls you don't need to over eat or be overweight to be your strongest. You just need to load up on fast, medium and slow digesting carbs about 30min to an hour before training/competition. Strongman athletes need to learn this. Over eating and being overweight is unnecessary and terrible for your health. Not to mention it destroys your mobility in high intensity events.

Calories are used to measure heat. If heat would equal in any way your needed food then every sauna would equal 100 hours of uninterrupted hard work and 3 days of sleep. Using calories metric is a very sketchy way to calculate your nutritional need. Also consuming rice and plant based food is gonna put unnecessarily toll on your body through increased toxicity.
