For the bonsai kit. Seeds dont expire. Federal law says companies must date seed packets with the year they were packaged, but seeds can remain viable for years. It is true that seed germination goes down in 3-5 years, but likely those seeds are just fine. If they do not germinate, a good plant nursery will get you started in the right direction, and I'm sure L.V. has at least one bonsai club.

I like your mother of the bride dress. For the wedding: get your nails done, wear a couple of smallish silver *rings, have hair cut to just below your shoulders, and maybe colored - maybe * dark blonde* Some good finds, especially high quality, high return pieces like the wooden tray and red n white box. Clothes I LIKED on You - gray with white birds, dark peach, NO not with that long, bottom cut, sweatshirt w birds, and ironed striped shirt, black velour top & peach top with embroidery on the Front. Try to find 'fitted pieces" that are not lose nor too long, nor hanging down. Take YOUR TIME choosing. We can't wait for your next try on haul.

The Bonsai will take a very, very long time to grow from seed. Have him try a small Fuschia, or something already established a bit. When I worked in a nursery and I used to take 1 gal sized shrubs and cut them into beginner Bonsais with small pebbles and lanterns... Sold like crazy back in the day! Turquoise top is my favorite!

I know the raised compote to be called a bride's box or wedding cake box. We have one from the 40's and they were for the bride and groom to have their cake served in and sometimes for the guests to take as a thank you souvenir. Mine is glass and was probably affordable at the time. The dress is perfect.

The blue dress is definitely formal enough for a wedding - love the rhinestone buttons. Do a up-do hair and you are ready to party. However, if you feel the dress is too tight then wear something that make you feel comfortable. Being comfortable is important.
