i lost my mom too at the Venetian (I walked around a bank of machines) I didn’t know she was starting a slow progression ( sundowners) into dementia. I turned around and she was crying i walked back and she reached and said I lost you, I told her no you didn’t, because I would never have left without you, don’t you know this? ( and she shook her head yes and smiled) we went on to win three $1000 jackpots on Wheel of Fortune $1 machine, i could not believe how lucky me & her were when we were together. I miss her so much.

I lost my mother in foxwoods one time had get random woman go in restroom looking for her! SHE went out other side restroom had two sided entrances.. Security finally found me as I was one that somehow got lost looking for her! That was atleast 25 years ago she still tells story and never goes in casino restroom without female escort..

Alright Daniel, metaphors and similes are very similar and are often confused. Metaphors are when you ARE a thing like "I am the sun, fiery and powerful" Similes are when you are LIKE something. Took Mom to the local casino last night. She plays Diamond Lotto at ,25 so $1. Total for all the cards. We got there at 7PM after traffic. Her sugar, blood pressure, and even her 87yr old nicotine addiction temporary are cured at this magical place while she is winning. She was winning! Then she was not. Found her outside feeding that non-filtered addiction and have her another $100. That was 10 PM. Made her eat,, you know the low sugar concern. Then it happened, the luck/curse of Mom winning. Multiple $300 bonuses and then a $600 one. I said curse because it was 3 AM when I finally got her out of there LOL Nice talk everybody! Moms are great !

Life can change in a blink of an eye, my mom passed at 82 after having a stroke to morning after we all were visiting the evening before, I would love to be able to have another evening with her and my dad. Cherish you crazy moments, they will be the memories you will cling to someday. 💕bless you for spending the time doing what she enjoys.
